No....minimum #14 on a 15 amp breaker. Use anything smaller....other methods of wire protection needed. Dum idea.

2....600's pushing it on a 15A. MAX load. 12 amps is about max for a 15 amp breaker. Shit gets hot...especially wire in its upper range. A loose or bad connection anywhere and bad things happen fast...especially on electrical circuits being pushed.

He's talking about the output cable from the ballast to the socket. The ballast isn't 120v either..

So? The bulb is part of the circuit. Unplug the bulb and throw an amp probe on the supply voltage line. Nada.

Here we have 230v current (with live and neutral)
I think you are speaking about 120v right ?
Because at 230volt, 600w equals 2.6 amp
If we round this at 3amp, for 3x600watt it makes 9 ampere.
In my experience it's OK for a 16 ampere breaker

230 volt. Is a 2 pole cct. usually. L1 and L2. Meaning a 2 pole breaker.
