Well here we go...Im only experimenting with one lone survivor (out of 4 sprouts). Ill see how this goes and run with it.
3 weeks (with me anyway)
Specs: I am using an 8' x 8' x 8' storage room with about 4.5' x 4.5' of "plantable" space (that is with an access path incl). It used to be the laundry area and has easy access to 220 power (which I think I will be able to use to my advantage). great air circulation and awesome insulation (needed up here). As for lighting I am currentlu using two single tube fixtures (OTT Light OTL2012 tubes [24" T12 full spectrum / plant growth]) angled to get the most bang for the buck. I had been keeping her at about 3" from the light source. She obviusly liked the o.k. light and grew alittle too close a little too fast, < 2". Those yellow tips on the two newest fans look like burning (I hope). So I dropped her .75" yesterday morning and the newest set looks healthy. I'm adding another pic that will show (obviously) where in her life I got her (I had to rescue them from a friend that was abusing the little green babies..look at the stem...she might get tippy). So there ya go..oh as far as suppliments or "nutes", I'm using an organic orchid mix. My Ma lives in the FL Keys and whips up a little extra for me from time to time...gotta love fish juice. Thanx again ..any help is greatly appreciated.
