Wow Merchan wasn't taking any shit with this one:

Court Dock: https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2024/04/D.O.motion4contempt-FINAL.pdf

" In those circumstances,
it would be preferable if the Court could impose a fine more commensurate with the wealth of the
contemnor. In some cases that might be a $2,500 fine, in other cases it might be a fine of $150,000.
Because this Coum is not cloaked with such discretion, it must therefore consider whether in some
instances, jail may be a necessary punishment"

guess that means he wanted to hit him for more, but because under NY law he couldn't.....interesting...

"THEREFORE, Defendant is hereby warned that the Court will not tolerate continued
will full violations of its lawful orders and that if necessary and appropriate under the circumstances,
it will impose an incarceratory punishment; and it is hereby"
"ORDERED, that Defendant pay a $1,000 fine for each of the nine violations of this Court's
lawful order by the close of business on Friday, May 3, 2024; and it is further"
"ORDERED that Defendant remove the seven offending posts from Defendant's Truth
Social account and the two offending posts from his campaign website by 2:15pm Tuesday, April
30,2024"

so 9k for what he did, and he still got 4 left for Merchan to rule on, and if he does it again it's JAIL?????

with this, also Merchan is allowing the orange dumb shit to go to Barron Graduation? hmm who wants to start the pot that he won't and he will go golfing instead, i mean he didn't go to any other graduation for his children, so why just Baron? Also Eric the asshole in the court with him today as well......awww he's got support, and it's not just depends.......
My money is on Trump throwing a “Bday Rally” out of state

Sounds to me that he bets tRump will use the opportunity to have a rally in Florida where I assume the graduation will take place. The judge should have stipulated that if he doesn't attend the graduation he will be held in contempt for duping the court and spend a weekend in Rikers.

:peace:

My guess is the judge could do that without the stipulation.
The graduate is rightly the focus of the day. He can't bear to fake sincerity and congratulate his kid, what would he get out of it? If he attends, it would be his first. He won't go.

The newest question now is, do any of the prosecutors in his other trials seeks sanctions?

As an indicted felon, he is barred from committing any other crimes while out on bail. Criminal Contempt is a crime. He could now be incarcerated as he has breached his conditions of release in each case.

oh say it isn't so......

Trump Media’s accounting firm charged with ‘massive fraud’

It's telling that Trump's dirty hands grasping at this corrupt firm's services became apparent before the SEC took action. There is a shit ton of fraud and corruption washing about this economy and the SEC looked the other way until one of the wealthy elites who benefitted from the fraud took aim at the government.

THEN and only then did the SEC take action.

An accounting is overdue but not just upon Truth Social.

i agree, there is a lot of companies that i would like the SEC to look over the buisness practices as well....

Speaking of "OH Elon, i'm looking at you asshole"

you know i kinda wish the SEC, the FTC and the FCC had a little more bite instead of a lot of bark....imo that would coral a lot of the buisness practices, but over the years congress and others have gotten ride of that....and look where we are now....

This is the good part of what the so called Progressives and Bernie have been trying to do. Their message all along has been that Democrats and Republicans are too dependent on money that comes from corrupt sources. Both parties have been looking the other way when convenient to them. Trump's mistake was that he made looking the other way inconvenient to our government. If he had not tried to overthrow the election that he lost, he probably would be looking at a very wealthy and prosperous post-presidency. He still would be corrupt as all hell but he would have been left alone by the SEC and DOJ.

But no. Corruption is reaching for our democracy. Its gone too far and can't be ignored. Bill Barr said that Progressives threaten our freedom but his definition of "our" does not include most people of the US. The interview below is odious so I copied it to start at the time stamp where he says what the wealthy elite believe.

He's not wrong. Trump is a counter-revolutionary leader of the corrupt wealthy elite of the US who are trying to end democracy as we know it in the US. Their problem is, they are just mediocre minds who are trying to push their agenda with stupid ideas. Ideas like: Biden and the Progressive Left are a threat to freedom because they want to take away gas cooktops and our cars.

There is an authoritarian streak in the Progressive left and it is embodied in Bernie's policies and I reject that. But what Trump and his Dominionist allies are trying to do highlights the necessity of cracking down on people who obtain wealth through corrupt means. Which is probably 90% of the wealthiest 1% in this country. They are a tiny fraction of the population. And so, they are trying to end democracy in order to protect their status.
