TRUMP CONVICTED

I bought a .38 for protection against Puma's while hiking. I'd never encountered one while hiking, but I do everything alone, so it seemed like insurance. I was uncomfortable with it and never saw a cougar, so I sold it back to the dealer I bought it from. Never even fired a practice round. I've thought of a "security shotgun" recently, but also about killing another human and how I'd feel, because I know I could do it. I have two rifles passed to me that I should sell. I've only fired the .22 when I was 13. The other is a Winchester 1895 30-40 US. Good looking, as guns go. It was used for deer hunting, but after WWII, neither my grampa, nor my dad would use them. My grampa used to say " the only thing I can shoot now is with a camera."
I bought a security 12 gauge pump just a while ago with 3 different stocks. Regular shoulder stock, pistol grip and one that's like a stub. Tried firing a magnum load of '00' with the stub on and totally lost my hold on the front grip. I keep it in the closet beside the bed with a trigger lock on it that has the key in it and a couple of rounds of standard '00' under my pillow. When I leave the property for any reason I take the key with me or lock it in my office safe with all my other ammo to stay legal for gun storage per Canadian law.

My dad was a Canadian naval vet and served on destroyers for all of WWII. When he finished his service he was Chief Gunnery Officer on a destroyer but never owned a gun after.

You could probably get some good money for that Winchester if you don't want it.

Not to get off-topic, but…should this be here, or in GOP Leadership?

Along those lines, here is Hot Mess Barbie.

Some (snort!) influencer has already stolen the Bat(!) Barbie tag.

Donald Trump Faces Travel Ban To 37 Countries
Former President Donald Trump, now a convicted felon, could face significant travel restrictions as many countries around the world enforce strict immigration policies against individuals with criminal records.

Probably wise considering how the internet has become another form of our permanent records.
Not my permanent record. I've been running ProtonVPN for the last 5 years and TOR for ages before that. My Proton email is under an alias and I use an email from my ISP for all my legit business like banking etc.

Costs me about $125/yr but worth every penny IMO.
