TRUMP CONVICTED

Who is this guy, Michael Tyler and why doesn't he say more things like this?

Biden Campaign: Convicted Felon Or Not, Trump's Still The GOP Nominee
Michael Tyler, communications director of the Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign, released a statement noting that even as a convicted felon, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.

“In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law," he said.

"Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain," he continued. "But today’s verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality. There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president."

Tyler said the threat of Trump on U.S. democracy "has never been greater."

"He is running an increasingly unhinged campaign of revenge and retribution, pledging to be a dictator ‘on day one’ and calling for our Constitution to be ‘terminated’ so he can regain and keep power. A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans’ freedoms and fomenting political violence – and the American people will reject it this November," he said.

Megan Kelly gives the rebuttal to the jury verdict that found Trump is guilty.

Summary: "I'm disgusted at the democrats for politicizing the justice system" "but it wasn't murder, it was just tax fraud and who can understand it anyway and Obama forced an entitlement (the very popular ACA) down the throats of Americans and the gag order was wrong because Trump had to speak out about it because he was running for president.."

Disclaimer:
It was on Sky News Australia, btw.

I could only listen half way through it. From this, I learned one thing. From now on, any mistreatment of democratic leaders will be justified because of what "they" did to Trump. If Trump wins, he will justify baseless charges against "his political enemies because they did it first".

Here it is, the GOP propaganda campaign to raise money and defend once prisoner Trump and now felon Trump after yesterday's 32 convictions on charges of felony election interference is underway. Last night, when looking at main stream media reports about Trump's convictions, I noticed that skynews had gamed the youtube algorithm to direct a flood of right wing BS my way like the segment from Megan Kelly (posted above).

"The American people see this as lawfare, and they know it is wrong -- and dangerous,” Johnson said. “President Trump will rightfully appeal this absurd verdict -- and he WILL WIN!"
Many congressional Republicans echoed that response.
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, the No. 3 Republican in the House, also made the unfounded claim that the trial outcome is a sign of a "corrupt and rigged" justice system.
"I fully support President Trump appealing this decision and look forward to the New York Court of Appeals delivering justice and overturning this verdict," she said.
Stefanik claimed, without evidence, that the case was "brought forward by Joe Biden's allies in a desperate attempt to save Biden's failing campaign and the verdict hinged on the testimony of a convicted felon who was disbarred for lying."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell issued a brief statement on X on former President Trump's conviction which says that the charges shouldn't have been brought against him.

And there is this:

It would be consistent. The targeting of family members for example, but also the increasingly harsh and disrespectful name-calling, calling a POTUS a pedo, fascist, "crooked", "crime family", and most upside down: liar. A far from complete list.

Trump's tactics wouldn't required a whole lot of code in a simulated environment. The news is fake, the elections are fake, the outrage of the triggered libs is faux. He's taking the fence off the dam... (causing people to increasingly act without restraints).

Trump forces Republicans to make a choice: be ok with Trump grabbing women by the pussy, be able to enjoy De Niro movies, respect at least the position of POTUS, respect the rule of law and democracy or stand behind their cult leader.

'The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.' George Orwell

Trump working overtime to check all the boxes below with his responses. Nr 10 in this case the most dangerous. 5&9 met by the stuff about immigrants from asylums.

An overview of common demagogue tactics:
  1. Playing on Emotions: They exploit fear, hope, and insecurity among the population, focusing on emotional appeal rather than rational arguments.
  2. Us vs. Them Mentality: They create and exacerbate divisions, presenting themselves as the voice of the "common people" against the perceived enemies, often established institutions or marginalized groups.
  3. Simplifying Complex Issues: Demagogues reduce complex socio-political issues to overly simplistic narratives, ignoring nuanced aspects.
  4. Attacking the Opposition: They often discredit and attack their opponents rather than engage with their arguments.
  5. False Claims and Distortions: Spreading misinformation and half-truths is a common tactic to shape public opinion.
  6. Charismatic Leadership: Many demagogues are charismatic, using personal magnetism and assertive speech to gain public support.
  7. Repetition: Repetition of simple, emotionally charged phrases or slogans can create a lasting impression on the public psyche.
  8. Blaming Scapegoats: They often identify scapegoats, blaming them for complex problems to deflect responsibility and criticism.
  9. Asserting Crisis: Creating a sense of perpetual crisis or impending doom, they justify extraordinary measures and consolidate power.
  10. Undermining Institutions: They may seek to undermine public trust in existing institutions and norms, portraying themselves as the only viable alternative.
  11. Populist Rhetoric: Using populist rhetoric, they claim to represent the "true will" of the people, often in opposition to the elite or the establishment.
  12. Personal Victimhood: Portraying themselves as victims of unfair treatment or conspiracies to gain sympathy and discredit opponents
I don't think these traits came natural and are instead learned and consciously applied and should be called out over and over with historic examples with not just Hitler as reference.

Mitch el Angle-o the Teenage Mutant Ninja Fascist has quietly and consistently aided and abetted the overthrow faction. This turgid statement means he is aware that the lot of them are next.

Fuck the New York Times. Their bottom line is whatever sells. Any other "respected" sources that give the convict space, too. Just repeating lies. No principles.
I read the article. It didn't seem biased, it simply reported what Trump's media organ was playing at the moment. What they are saying is most likely true. I don't doubt there was a surge in donations. I also don't doubt that it was pre-planned and accounts were primed for this very moment and there was a lot of hanky-panky going on in order to raise that cash. 30% new donors?

Skynews. Now that deserves disrespect. Also, Megyn Kelly has fallen into the right wing shitter. She's had every right to be indignant over her treatment at Fox -- and by Trump through his abuse of her in Twitter. And said so back in 2017 or so. Now, she's turned into a degraded huckster and is serving the very people who did her harm. There are a lot of people like her in Trump's orbit. Just goes to show what greed can do to once-reasonable people.

"Lawfare", "Deep State", "stollen", "rigged". Stick to one, or two, syllable made up words. "Uniparty" is too much to ask for. (Uh, whut now?)

Oh, and botox is not your friend. Talkin' to you, Kimberly Gargoyle, Eric's wife, and the spokesdork, 'Lina Habbababba.

Okay, admittedly, I didn't read the whole thing. However, both they, and WaPo, give way too much credence to the vile that flows from the convict.

I never owned a gun in my life but I think it's time. Orange man is not even close to being finished yet. I hear more and more hate from his crowd every day and it's not making me feel safe. I'm not talking about TV and news stuff, I'm talking about the people around me. 6 months before the shit hits the fan.
I bought a .38 for protection against Puma's while hiking. I'd never encountered one while hiking, but I do everything alone, so it seemed like insurance. I was uncomfortable with it and never saw a cougar, so I sold it back to the dealer I bought it from. Never even fired a practice round. I've thought of a "security shotgun" recently, but also about killing another human and how I'd feel, because I know I could do it. I have two rifles passed to me that I should sell. I've only fired the .22 when I was 13. The other is a Winchester 1895 30-40 US. Good looking, as guns go. It was used for deer hunting, but after WWII, neither my grampa, nor my dad would use them. My grampa used to say " the only thing I can shoot now is with a camera."
