Hey guys.
So heres my problem. I have 2 dwc buckets with the same strain in the (trainwreck). I let them get a little too tall vegging them a few weeks longer because i took a bunch of clones from them. Theyre growing great after a few nutrient tweaks. But now my problem.. never thought id say it but theyre TOO tall!!
Theyre in end of week 4 of flowering so i think theyre pretty much close to done with their strech. Now i have a great pretty even canopy EXCEPT about 6 or 7 tops that are about 6 inches taller than the rest of the canopy. I had to mount my light literally to the tent bar just to get those taller tops 18 inches away from the light. My question is should i chop the taller tops and grow a completely even cannopy?*(the rest of the plant is almost perfectly even) or should i lst the taller branches, even though im week 4 in flower? Or maybe some supercropping? The tops dont seem to be blocking anything lower than them they just stick up way higher and are way closer to the light.
I feel like if i were to chop the tops then the whole canpoy can get an even ppfd instead of those taller tops getting high ppfd but then the ppfd dropping (more than it should) when it reaches the rest of the conopy.
Also , if i did chop them and make everything even would it HURT anything?
Thankyou for yalls input and ideas.
