Breeding landrace x berry haze berry

Hello my friends, today I harvested haze berry auto, and it was pollinated with a Lebanese landrace male, and now I have some F1 seeds. I also have one seed from haze berry auto. Can I benefit from it by backcrossing, and in what generation do I do this? And if I make an S1 from a haze berry auto and use the S1 with an F1 haze berry x landrace, is it considered a backcrossing ? Does anyone have suggestions on how to use these seeds to start this line? My goal is sustainability in the autoflower seeds and some good qualities for smoking. Thank you

Crossing an auto (feminized?) with a male photo will not give you autos f1s they will be photos and some males. They will only have half of the recessive geens needed for autoflowering.If you like the haze berry auto then grabbing some polen from your F1 photo male and using it on your last auto would give you a 50/50 shot at being auto and a cross of those autos would close to 100% auto. :idea:

@popeyesailorman hello
By f1 I mean that it is the first generation. What I understand is that I must plant the seeds of the first generation, produce a male from them, and crossbreed with haze berry auto.
Yep. you can also cross the f1 that you grow out with each other but would only get 25% autos from that F2 breading auto f2 would get you close to all auto f3s. :hump:

@popeyesailorman Thanks for the information and sorry for the many questions. I'm new to the world of cannabis and I'm trying to learn. I would like to know what type of haze berry auto from royal queen is. Is it ibl or poly hybrid or any type?

Ok your f1 will be fast flowering and earlier triggering but still photo dom you gonna need to keep growing it out and selecting till like f4 or f5 chasing the auto traits if thats what your after if not just keep selecting for plants with good traits and photo period dominance

Landrace is used very loosly then. most landraces are true IBL. not crossed with Ruderalis. :o
Not true bud Sinai Lebanese morrocan and some others are naturally semi auto there not ruderalis there in fact just extremely light sensitive photo period plants that will bloom in like june in the north or at like 15 hours 16 hours light so there handy for that

You could bx it to the auto i wouldnt id chase it n grow it out from f1 to f5 to and chase the auto traits in those work it till its what you want cos you proly wanna keep the hardyness of the leb to be honest you bx it to the auto it wont be so hardy id think
