G13 is a very strong strain of cannabis indica that is the subject of many urban legends. According to some accounts, the CIA, FBI, and other agencies gathered the best strains of marijuana from breeders all over the world. At a super-secret installation at the University of Mississippi, they bred many new super hybrids in the late 1960s. Allegedly, a single cutting of this plant was liberated by an unnamed technician and bred for the masses. - Leafly

Now where can I buy this damn SEED ?!

You can't it's a clone only plant that is now dead. The good news is very few people have tried the original G13 clone just hybrids.

Of course DR. Greenthumb claims to sell S1's of the original clone but I don't believe it for a second and $100 per seed fuck that shit!! I have read many grow reports of Docs hack while it's good it's not amazing by the reports.

Sensi Seeds has a few G13 hybrids no doubt G13 genes are in it but most likely they are F2 at the most but they are pretty expensive. Shantibaba of Mr. Nice has some hybrids available as well he worked with Nevil the first to make G13 hybrids available to the public also previous owner of now Sensi Seeds. But he made an F3 G13 x Skunk selected for G13 dominance he doesn't sell the F3 pure unfortunately but he does have several hybrids my two favorites are his G13 x Widow and G13 x Haze. You can get them very cheap directly from mrnice.nl click on the auctions and you can get them just over 20 euros no problem free guaranteed shipping to the USA they don't take credit cards but I never had an issue sending cash they do have other payment options if you don't want to take a risk.

Correction - Dr. Greenthumb sells his G13 seeds for $200 for a pack of 10 feminized seeds. Not $100 per seed.
Well he finally changed the price. Lol, he was charging$200 for a 2 pack of fems a few years ago. But a whole lot of people did give him shit about it. Lol

Heck, in the late 60's 12% thc was top of the line. Now some strains advertise 30+ %.
I run Doc's g-13 still today, originally bought when he first released it. 3 seeds, $200 back then.
Whether it's the original or not, who knows? It is one of my best producers and the smoke is ok.

I highly doubt this.
Who knows what was, and how it was tested back then.
I am feeling they were testing mostly bricked schwag and not the top quality exotic insanely potent more limited supply varieties.
They probably never busted any of this kind bud. Or never had it tested.
I don't know where they tested weed, or if each state had a testing facility or if it was done by border patrol.
Either way, there were equally strong strains that would compare to good kush/cookie, but then there were some that were so strong, and long lasting, that you can't compare today. Those were lost due to lack of bag appeal, when people got their first look at B.C. bud.
G-13 I smoked some back in the mid 80s. Very strong stone! Like a pill. But some light psychedelic and paranoia. No joke strain!
Bud was a little leafy, but extremely crystalline leaf and pods. Some burgundy colored hairs, on a lighter green bud. Sticky and incredible looking!
Pure hashy goodness, maybe a little skunky/spice.

There was no real testing of % you were charged by volume. The cost of testing was rather prohibitive. Technology has changed now.
But the government growing pot in the 60's any scale is making aliens believable.

Mkultra started in 1953. I think it's pretty plausible.

G13 is dead what they are selling as g13 s1s is a s1 of a g13 x nl2 apparently cos the closest we have are hybrids today there are no seeds of it it was one plant a sport chances are and it died anyone from the uk might remember the dunk clone that used to go about well thats supposed to be a g13xnl2 as well think it was flying dutchmen who offered this line originally in seed

I think somewhere in the pacific northwest possibly montana the cut is still held as well as many old school strains like the chemo, blueberry, sensi star, champagne, ak47 to name a few I have come across in the region.

Hazeman has a g13 and Neville’s g13 cut he uses for breeding. I don’t know how close they are to the “legit” one, but I picked up crosses with each. He also sold me a pack of G13 regs he said he got from someone who’s had them for a while, said they were really close to his cuts.

I'd take all hazeman strains with a grain of salt as they are probably closer to 75% of what he claims and an unknown donor to complete a fairly stabile seed line and achieve his goal of selling
With that being said I have probably 5 or 6 packs of his seeds, most notably some of the tuna kush crosses I'm interested in. As bodhi has the ghash lines locked down no need to test hazeman.
It's interesting how the more isolated growers are, the longer these old gems stick around. Once the hype and influence start to dictate what's grown rather than what's best or classics, the favorites get lost

I picked them knowing that I’ll never find the ideal strains in pure seed form. I feel that the best chances to at least find something close are to go with breeders that have been around for a long time, and that breed with old stuff. I also grabbed those tuna’s.

Hi :eyesmoke:Friend
According to the story when Nevil got the clone In Oregon, The clone was already widely grown as commercial indoor plant in the US so many people had it . I know a seed bank got it via Tissue culture from a retired grower and I got it from them after.

Was Jorge Cervantes that sorted it out for em tbh we can't ask Neville so send him (Jorge)a snip that prove it if it was actually the g13 not a hybrid
