I seen this one advertised the other day idk about 90%indica as the genetics are somewhat unknown with og n bubba but with that lineage you would expect good things anyway the bubba x widow i tried was nice for what that bit is worth also sssc is partnered with dutch passion cos of the legal/licensing situation in holland so there kinda tied to each other from all i heard and good luck with the grow mate

I'm only growing 3 plants but I can confirm all 3 seeds have now popped!

I just used the paper towel method, one poped after 24hrs but they are all growing now, respect to Dutch passion and SSSC!

And we are off, kinda... Just growing 3 plants as the tent can get a bit crowded and thats plenty for me until I fancy a new strain.

Seedlings now under light in 'root riot' cubes with a mild mixture of Shogun 'start'.

Nor fired up the DWC yet, I'll do that once I get some roots poking thought the starter cubes.

LED Light is runing at 10% power, so about 30w... might bump it up to 20% but i'll see what the next 48hrs brings.

Small update, what a shit show... my cheap blue air stones have started to disintigtate! they've only done one grow before but not good! They are pulling off at the plastic nipple!

I've got some small cheap inline valves ( the red bits you might be able to see in the pics) so im wondering if I've restricted the airflow too much, along with my cheap-ass air pump.

The water won't be starved of oxygen as (hard to see in the pic) as I'm running a water chiller which also acts as a little waterfall on the return.

Damn...I need to do something before the roots get too big to do anything!

Not a lot going on at the moment, top growth a bit slow as roots make thier way through the pots.

PH and EC and air temperature/RH are good, i put a maintenence dose of peroxide in just in case.

I've kinda solved my air stone problem (for now), Im just running 3 stones, one under each pot, and in the other corner of the tank I have a little waterfall going on as the water return hose from the chiller. Dunno if my air pump is on its way out, but I have a spare..it's twin port but one port seems to be unable to blow hard enough to drive more than one airstone.

The chiller is working well, I have it set to 18c/64f ...it kicks in about once an hour for about 10 mins at a time as water temps rise to 19c/66f and brings it back down again.

Brilliant bit of kit, my water temps would be way too warm without it...fricking expensive though!

Some good news and some bad news...

I lost a seedling so im now down to 2 plants - my fault as I dropped it onto the floor when transfering it to the root-riot cube from the paper towel, it was really stunted compared to the other two and seemed to struggle to shed the seed casing..I tried to pull the casing off but I think if it wasn't already ruined by then, I finished it off!

I also noted the return waterfall from my water chiller had slowed down, a quick inspection of the inline filter revealed it was blocked with the dreaded brown slime... so I've cleaned that up and dumped a 'disease' grade dose of silver bullet into the DWC.

I have been really lazy though, I hardly checked anything for about 8 days.

Next time, I think
A) I have to be a lot more carefull!
B) I might soak the seeds in water before putting in paper towels, maybe it will help soften up the seed casing so thay can shed it easier?
C) Check the filter on the water pump for the chiller once a week
D) Be more pro-active!

In good news, the other two are dooing good, but i now have only 2 plants in a space that can cope with 3 or 4, so I might try to LST/SCROG them sideways a bit

I think it's really interesting to see how the roots seek out the more bubbly parts of the tank, but they spread out over the air stones where it's too bubbly.

The roots also seems to like to interlink and join up with nehbouring plants .. I couldn't really see it on my last grow as the roots get so big it's hard to tell what's from what, but as I only have two plants now, it's an interesting thing to watch.

This grow is a bit of a shit show, and I've have to add an aquarium filter, but hopefully we will get there. Quality, not quantity!

Quick update, I'm in a bit of a stress, I had a power cut today but as luck would have it, it was just at the start of the 18/6 night cycle, so aside from all the pumps stopping for a couple of hours... the light/dark schedule is pretty much maintained.
