Got a gig at a local Arboretum this afternoon, and my car took a shit on me after making some weed deliveries in the city last night. No car rental places around me open on a Sunday, so I was in a panic. My sister is loaning me her car, so that is awesome. She is great, I love her so much ;)

Victory! My wife has surrendered.
She no longer asks if I'm playing golf today with an angry look thrown in.
She just said "so where are you playing today".
Nota bene: When we go quiet we have plans 8-) For example mine is ordering the new BMW. Can't have a car that had a chunk taken out of her taillight :bigjoint: What kind of cars does she like, or sewing machines or wood working tools but yeah......

I once surprised my wife with a new Camry for mothers day. Score!
I also gave her a sewing machine for Christmas one year. She thought she was getting jewelry. Oops won't do that again.

I mean, sorry that happened, but NO taillight should cost $554!
Yeah, that’s insane. Is that the new Beamer u just bought? don’t have a garage for it?
Yes I have a garage but it has other stuff in it. Even growing up in HB we didn't garage our cars. It was where my dad's cabinet shop was.

It's the entire taillight so I get it. Last taillight assembly on my 1982 Toyota Celica GTS (I like to go places expeditiously) cost $250 in '82. So just doubling doesn't seem too bad. Anyway I knew what she cost when I bought her and the next one will be twice as expensive but I am paying for the Level 2 and Level 3 automatic driving as designed by the pros, not the current crop of our CA self crashing/burning cars. So just a choice that will extend my safe driving ability in the traffic we drive in Meta. But I'm very aware of how blessed I am to be able to trade money for safety and continue living in LA. So many older folks are unable to do that especially now.

Ahhh you're such a sweetie! I love tools. My husband had no time one year and he bought me a set of the best tiny screwdrivers off the Snap On truck, I love those things and still use them. Best present EVER!
