Proper way to grow single cola plants

How do I grow single cola plants? Do I have to strip off everything from the stem and just have the main top growing (like a stick with leaves on the top) or do I just keep the brantches small so there is room to grow bud down the stalk. I see pics of single cola plants and there is bud all the way up and down. I don't see how it got like this is you have to take all the nodes off? Thanks a lot. If you are confused I can get a pic to explain.
Yeah I like to know how they get those single colas all the way down to the bottom on those tall plants too? Plus grower told me it's better to have one big main stem providing the nutrients then many little ones. But, usually it's the lower the node the bigger the branch will be so, an i dont know how they get them to stay as one main bud all way down to the bottom like that. I'm not a expert but guy mentioned force flower with 5 nodes. What about removing anything below 5 nodes before flower/during flower? Only thing I can think is keep trimming lower branches

You sound like a new grower. Nothing wrong with that at all. Just focus on growing a healthy plant and less about specifics. Don’t worry about node counts etc.

Part of it is genetics, I have plants going now and within the same strain there are single cola plants and branchier plants. One trick I learned is that if you keep the plants close together so their leaves touch, the will stay more tower-like, with one big cola instead of the lower branches becoming prominent.
this has all intrigued me and i just cut about 20 clones of some Icc aka ice cream candy and would love to try growing them as one cola but i do have one question, why do it that way and limit yourself on how much bud your growing, only one thing would make me do it that way and having very limited space other then that if had wicked awesome growing producing main colas with a whole lot of other bud, i started my flowing at 2 feet so im just curious as to why limit to one cola , for time for space to flip them quick maybe doing it that way i can see doing 50 to 100 of them at a time? thoughts and comments, im going to trying it just wanting feed back and i’ll post pics as well of the whole process! name is hydrogod nice to meet everyone!

single cola plants have nothing to do with genetics. you people amaze me with how little yo know single cola plants are plants that are force flowered b 4 they have 5 nodes or in other words when your plant is about 8 inches tall induce flower heres the result
is it just for space that anyone would want to grow single colas as to just letting them do there thing and grow! maybe doing 50 to 100 at a time would make it worth it!? anyone
