Can I shift the daylight hours for flowering?

Have a 18/6 cycle starting here at 6AM going to 12AM, and am wondering for flowering whether I can start from 12AM and end at 12PM instead? So not just changing to 12/12, but also shifted a bit so that daylight starts earlier and finishes earlier? Or would it stress the plants out too much? It would be a permanent change so wouldn't alter it back again.

It will be fine. If anything people like to have an extra bit of darkness before or earlier.
See for you, your lights currently turn off at midnight, and your new schedule starts at midnight , so you don’t want to have your lights on for both scheduals in a row. So turn it off sooner. Maybe miss a lights on.

Their pretty dumb
.I ran my plants 10 on/14 off and it worked fine, and saved energy costs

Deffo works cost you a bit in yield but you can do it

Whatever works for you and your schedule. I use to flower mine at night so having lights on in the flower tent and the veg tent at the same time wouldn't make the garage hot

plant can live with 24h light soo the change will not affect it
