I’ve got a few up to around 7 foot as of today - can’t wait till they start stacking juicy frosty nugs and stretching their legs even more

. By far my favorite strain to smoke . With 19 plants all ranging from 5.5 to 7 foot , it’s pretty safe to say I shouldn’t run out for the year ‍♂
So I transplanted 4 today , and even in coco and 10 gallon fabric pots , they were essentially all roots . Dug a 3x3x2.5 foot hole , sprinkled some dynomyco at the bottom , dropped the root ball into the hole , soaked in a 6.0 ph solution of recharge and water , and transplanted . They’re slightly shorter about 1.5-2 ft , but I have a feeling 2-3 weeks of veg as well as the stretch and my transplant will 100% pay off and allow these to reach some pretty substantial sizes . Only thing that sucks is I had already lollipopped them , and now that they’re buried deeper - I may have to remove some more growth in 3-4 weeks IMG_2473.jpeg

Man, I would love to be able to grow outdoors. It gets so damned hot here and the humidity stays in the 90+% range with sparse breezes. Only strains I've seen take it are(mostly)Mexican sativas. Good luck! Nice to see somebody doing it outside. Ain't no way in hell I'd get a hole that big in this compacted, rocky, red clay without a backhoe. Glad you have the ability to do it. Double points for effort there!

Thanks !
I’ve been doing this for 20 years - hauling bales of pro mix back in the swamps - it’s nice not having to hide it anymore , but the fact that the price has dropped 75% isn’t ‍

we actually used to do floating buckets in the swamps . Double 5 gallon buckets drilled at the base ,dropped inside a thick piece of styrofoam that had a circular hole cut , painted green. The ring on the buckets would seat tight to the styrofoam , and we would tie them off to trees , or beaver huts on the back sides of swamps . Some of our biggest outdoor plants were grown this way and they absolutely loved that nasty swamp water and needed no maintenance.

we’ve had an extremely dry summer . I bet we haven’t had more than 10 rainy days in the last 2+ months . Almost everyday here has been 75-88 degrees . It’s been a great year , but typically the issues arise in September towards the end of flowering. I’ll be going out early in the morning , with a leaf blower to dry my ladies out

my GG was insanely resistant to any sort of bud rot and Pm last year , and it was pretty wet with minimal care . Our biggest problem are these damn caterpillars “Monterey bt spray once a week has stopped that “ , and Japanese Beatles that are the damn thanos of the insect world “

I’ve trapped tens of thousands , and have convinced my neighbors to hang traps so I don’t bring swarms of them in here to munch on my girls

I've finally made it to the grow store and got some stuff. Dude recommended Clonex and sold me an envelope of jelly for $7. I'm gonna try anyway....I found the last few(4) beans of GGauto . They're ILGM, so, I got shit to lose running them under 12/12 so I have backup if things don't work out for these photos. I have a small closet I've commandeered for the clone experiment. Today is chop day for 1 of the 2 Mephisto Fairy Cake plants. I let it get about 35% amber trichs. I usually prefer 20% but I'm needing some laid back stuff. The bud I broke off last week was pretty dang good and it wasn't quite ready. I hope I don't end up having to smoke ILGM, but at least I have learned alot since I was having to run their gear.

I took a couple cuttings yesterday ,dipped the tips in Clonex and stuck them into a couple peat pellets I buried in cups of FFOF up to the top of the bag below the hole. They are still not drooping, so maybe it'll work. He wanted $30 for a sheet of rockwool. So, I may as well try this out. I've read about people doing it like this. These shoots needed trimmed anyway. Their only chance at life now is to take root.

I'll have to try them. It was funny cause the guy slipped and ran the rockwool all down his arm. It looks like fiberglass. Lol, it must get in your skin like it too the way he acted. He was hissing lol.
you just have to be careful not to compress it. It’s not a very forgiving medium IMO. Can we see a pic of your pear pods? They’re likely similar to GH rooters

I’ve gotten some amazing flower from ILGM . Are there better genetics out there ? Absolutely - but I can tell you their gorilla glue photos are excellent .
I grew one plant from them last year outdoors - didn’t take care of it from June - September , and chopped it - no nutrients , no water. Just in good dirt in the ground and got what the lord gave it - yielded 3/4 of a lbs and it tested out at 23% thc ! I won a homegrown contest for 4 straight weeks with it at a local dispensary and got beat by the last week of the competition by a cafe racer that was a ridiculous 29% !

Keep humidity high , and decent moisture and you’ll have no issues as long as they don’t rot .

I’ve put shoots in a glass of water with no hormones nada , and had roots within a week .
