So Biden has just dropped out of the 2024 race

Some have suggested Mark Kelly for VP. I hope not, we need him in the Senate. Arizona already got screwed once when Obama drafted Janet Napolitano for his Cabinet. Perhaps Gavin Newsom? Hakeem Jeffries, that would be interesting to watch several million racist's heads explode simultaneously. I imagine it will probably be Pete Buttigieg though. Still some heads exploding but not as many.

I think this was a good move by Biden. I also believe there will be a ground swell of Gen Z, women, and minority voters that will turn the heat up big time.

Also, never underestimate the power of the Swifties. I know it ain't no Trump crowd, but it's close.

These are indeed interesting times. There are some very interesting responses already in the feed. It makes me happy Joe stepped aside. He did a great job pulling us from Trump and through Covid-19 and now he can retire in style and get some good rest and family time. Let's see what the Democrats come up with in the end. Bound to be as interesting as a cross between Freakshow X Sweet Tooth.

He'd never fly, proved who he was working for a while back and it ain't us.
He is a Republican through and through no question, the silver spoon stuffed in his mouth from birth make those tax breaks a little too good to pass up. But he did not take the left troll parties bait.

I am ok with a Republican as VP as lon..g as the...y.....

That might work well.

Better than Manchin.

Thinking further I think she is pretty much a home run as far as balancing the ticket and the impact on social media trolling the people in the center to try to scare them about Harris being a woman of color. The ones that remember her dad and have a lot of respect for him will go a very long way would be my guess.

Or they hate him but would likely be willing to deal with it since she didn't sell out her nation to keep her seat.

I could see this being a win in the house but cost the Democrats the senate if people decide to split their ticket to keep the nation's money out of the Republicans hands but still check her ability to actually do anything.

In my opinion at this point the contrast couldn't be greater.
The Democrats give you diversity and young modern American success stories. They represent the 98% not the 1%. Strong supporters of the constitution. Their old guy realized it was time to step aside and do what was right for his country.
The Republicans give you Trump, all bow beneath him. Representing the swamp, replete with crooked judges.appointed by Trump, crooked congressmen and senators all working for the billionaire class. Ready to trash the constitution to gain power.
Appears the Republicans got euchred when they went all in on Trump.
