Window grow just past the 3 week stage...should I start using a tiny amount of mutes?

The science behind all this is a bit baffling so I figured I'd just throw this out there...

The bottle of Bio-Bloom I have clearly states it should be used at the flowering stage but, would a more diluted dose help my plants?
I'm fine to be patient & wait but I don't want to miss any tricks, or an opportunity to give my plants a little lift. They're small but it's to be expected...

This is the small print on the soil I'm using...

...and these are 2 of my plants...

Seedlings - Week 3.jpg

I have 4 in total, all a similar size, & I'm trying out different methods - some have been transplanted to 11 litre pots & I'll use LST on at least one of them when the time is right. All the transplants had Mycorrhizae added to the root area before being re-potted.

It's really just the feeding part I'm have trouble with. Are there enough nutrients in the soil?

You can get a simple dry fertilizer ( Dr.earth / Recipe 420 / etc. ) - a teaspoon mixed into top layer - watered in.

Example :

No need to grab “ bottles “ and possibly doing overfeed or burn.
‘Plant will acclimate to this one food source - making things simpler for you in the end.

Once flowering stage begins - change over to a Bloom specific dry fertilizer .

I just am uncertain if a “window grow “ will be enough. If I were you , find a spot / open corner and put it under a light with a dedicated amount of available light ( 18 hour or better ) . It would make your grow better in the long run.

Under my circumstances an outdoor grow is impossible. I live in a 3rd floor flat in a busy part of the city.
Also, I don't really have the space of the inclination to set up an indoor grow. Not this time anyway.

The plants can get 90 minutes of morning sun on our north-facing balcony but then the majority of the time is spent indoors as the sun slowly passes our south-facing windows. On a good day (very often, at the moment) they're nice & bright, getting around 5 hours of direct sun. Then there's another 90-120 minutes of evening sun as it passes around the west side of our building.

As an update with the nutes, I ordered some stuff suitable for any time of the plant's life & will use that with the next watering session.

Since you are a window grower you will have a tiny plant.meaning she could probably live just from soil.not too much nutes if you still pln to use it

Get a light of some sort just for helping to develop those buds my only thought!

The main grow thread is here... www.rollitup.org/t/my-second-windowsill-grow-hoping-to-learn-from-the-mistakes-of-my-first-one.1101411

Basically I have four plants...three are Northern Dragon Fuel Autos & the other is Glueberry OG Auto (a free seed I got with my order).
I decided to experiment with them all, trying different methods...

The Glueberry OG & one of the Dragon Fuel plants are growing, untrained, in 11 litre pots. The soil I've used is peat-based & has great water retention. I'll start using Bio-Grow nutes when I water them next, probably in 3-4 days.

The other 2 Dragon Fuel plants are growing differently. One is in its original seedling pot (about 0.5 litres), the other is getting some LST treatment. I was advised to try out both these methods, partly to not stress out the plant (by transplanting) and partly to play around with the shape of the plant using LST.

Interestingly, at the moment, the healthiest is the transplanted Dragon Fuel plant, followed by the one in its original, smaller pot. I'm still tempted to transplant it but should maybe continue the experiment.
The trained plant needs a few more days to really lift itself into the beginning of it's new shape, then I can train a little more.

I'm not bothered about going to great lengths for high yields. I'm a very casual smoker & will be happy with what I get, which will likely last me several months (until the next grow cycle).

If your window is double pane or UV protective glass you’re not benefiting from the sunlight..?? This is my first post in a discussion, please don’t shame me too bad please.

You mean the one I deliberately mentioned (with a link) in my last post? ⬆:) ⬆

I was hoping for a swift answer regarding the soil & nutes combination. I'm new to this & felt that time wasn't really on my side if I was to transplant the seedlings. It worked. I got my answers too & won't really be using this thread again, unless I have to reply to a comment or have another nutrients question.

You're fine to post where you wish. It's ok.
