If I suspect it may be to much for the branch I use my fingers and crush the stem a little where I want it to bend. Making it more pliable. Let's it kinda fold over versus full stress on the stem that sometimes ends with a little...snap..oops moment lol

She was the last one to get trained and I was just a little rough and inpatient. Got me! I think we will recover.

Reading your plants. You know just by looking. Awesome! You spend a lot of time with these don't ya? Lol

You caught me! I am this first round spending a little extra time. Getting that photo bank refilled, so I can really hit the cruise control in the future.

Day 29

Wow! I Have to start with that because these girls took 2 gallons no run off! Had a great dryback which I'm sure contributed to there thirst. They've had a great day. Hit with epsom on the foiler right before bed and then a big sip of tribus, BMC and yucca on the wake up. Really happy with the progress. Made an adjustment with the light. Still at the lowest setting but moved everything towards the center. 19k to 22k lux average. Also the plants with arrows got there first top dress. Dr. Earth, EWC and some quoddy blend. All others will be fed on the 3rd week from transplant. Culling day not far ahead. 79.3f/53.7rh weekly average.

You might be ok with the branch snap, but it's hard to say..i've taped up snaps before and they recovered, although not quite as bad a snap as that..

Although not as vigarous as the non-traumatized branches! Time will tell.

Day 32

If you need anymore excuses to spend more time in your garden, start training! Really loving the dry amendment game, water. I did foiler spray today neem oil. The growth is just outstanding. These girls are like milkshakes...THIIIIICK lol. Seriously though the stocks are going to be massive. They're drinking even more water, they light as shit. Will have water tomorrow for sure. I have a new found respect for people that train. It is not going to be easy, it will take time and 100s of plants. Don't give up. You want those magnificent flat square even tops, train! I'm so happy I have extra plants because I'm about to break some more shit!

Word! It's so awesome, I'm sad I just begun this journey. Thanks bro. I forgot to mention I did raise the light to stimulate some stretch. They just so tight, it's hard to work in there.

Thank you. That's the goal! I'm not wasting one inch in my space. ALL TOPS! Wait til you see the final. This is my first time training this aggressively, but I think it's gonna work out.

Day 35

Culling day is getting closer and these girls are not making it easy. When I had show hogs as kid my dad told me don't name em' because you will be emotionally attached. So true. This is that same feeling I had on sale day. You feed, water them, work on showmanship and hope they do well in confirmation. Even though I never gave them names you do create a bond. Same for this run, I didn't name em' but I hate to see them go.

Trained today as well as did some experiments, like @futurebanjo said everyday is school.

I've never heard anyone giving names to their plants this is so cute, I think I might start doing that, imagine rolling one up and saying "I'm smoking Jade right now, she was such a healthy girl"

Thank you sir! They are not helping my difficult decision making easy. Initially two but I think 3 would allow me to fill quicker. They are going into 5 gallons in 3 weeks.

**edit that was my first thought. But mannnn 3 in this space would be tough. So, after much thought. We're going to cull the front/bottom row. It will also give me a little experience on top dressing every 2 or 3 weeks.

Sticking to your plan. Nice. They will definitely fill that space. I'm not a big fan of overcrowding. I've done it before and ya loose weight.
3 weeks them will be big.

Yeahhhh it's tough. Really tough. But I'm in no hurry, I can let the process work and do really well. I built two lights for this exact reason. 2 plant grow. Two of them is going to blow the doors off this tent, keeping anymore for flowering is greedy lol. In 3 weeks alot is going to change. I never utilized my space well, but today I understand the potential. Let's goooooo!
