bud candy in DWC

I'm in DWC and I've used Bud Candy and Sugar Daddy by Technaflora. In my own experience, keeping temps down in my the reservoir and lights out has kept me problem free. The label on Bud Candy specifically says it was designed for "use with all hydroponics, sphagnum, coco coir and other growing media". I use AN Sensi Bloom & Grow, Hygrozyme, Big Bud (for 2 weeks), H2O2, along with Big Bud or Sugar Daddy. I don't know why people would say it wasn't compatible if they have no first hand knowledge. Some people on cannabis message boards all over the net are bad about giving advice about things they've never tried.

snake oils, snake oils, snake oils.........Funny the supplement industry resembles the nute industry in so many ways. I use Macro/Micro nutes and bleach, it works...

I have always been fine using molasses, bud candy or carbo load in all Hydro setups it's fine as long as your temps stay low in res and you have plenty of air in the water your fine any time I saw something bad going on it was cause the resevoir was to hot and I like to use sensizyme by an, it cleans up the mess quickly and makes food for your plants.
If it gets really out of control I use nothing but h202 and ro water for 2 weeks and then start fresh with sensizyme and nutes you should be fine though

If you use sensizym and h2o2 it should be just fine. If you live in a hot country put a few ice cubes every day in the water and it cools down the water a bit. Always found it a good trick. I would however still give them Humbolts Honey foliarly until the end of week 3.

Off point a little but here is a response from AN regarding piranha. The first line.

All of our nutrients can be used in RDWC.
In relation to your question, piranha can absolutely be used in a deep water culture situation.
The reason we provide such a wide spectrum of fungi species is so that every different growing situation can be inoculated.

What do you think guys?

Bringing this dead old thread back to life. It seems to be some are for it some are not for it.
.
Personally I would like to see what is being put in the bud i've been getting that when I get something like sour patch slush, the shit taste and smells like a sour patch kid. Anything grape taste like grape medince juice.

So I'm sure you've seen some of my post. I've run just Botinacare grow and bloom with some calmag and had some usual newbie issues but under diy cfls to veg and a 400w hps i was getting close to 2g/watt dry.

I'm a molecular biologist so the science behind using different things makes sense but there are so many and do think a lot of snake water. So I digress
I root in clonex root and clone. Then Armor Si, calmag, micro, grow, bloom, floralicous plus, koolbloom, flora nectar fruit-n-fusion (not in all plants yet and newest supplement). SG bennies. premixed 1ml/10ml and 1ml goes in each gallon of mix. I also add Advance nutrients Big bud week 2-5 and Bud candy.

I'm DWC my res stays under 72 with light pretty much locked out of everything. Adding the flora nectar through things off but i think that was because I didn't cut big bud and excessive K cause Mg and Ca issues.

I had zero issues with any slim or root rot with adding Bud Candy the entire time. It's carbs but no molasses. The roots are stained from the floralicous plus. I was adding way too much SG beneficials so got that little white foam. once i diluted no issues. I add that and the flora nectar at 50% the bottle recommends. I figure it is getting different types of sugar that are specific for cannabis metabolism (I'm a great salesman LOL).

From this thread I looked deeper into sweeteners and AN specific. Trantula, phriana, sensizym, all beneficial. I believe some fungi some bacteria? For one, do we know what this actually is like we know the bacteria strain SG uses is hydroguard but 10x the amount?
Second this seems like a lot of not snake water but unnecessary. I'm very skeptical about their stuff, I was reading ohh gotta get factor X, huge yeilds. It was like $60 I think and it's Mg. That's it. So epson salt and water LOL So why need the different carbs in B52 and in Bud candy. Then need different things to break them down.

Long story short. Taste comes from genetics. I believe in science. What are they growing this pot with from CA. It's good but pgr's? I can't seeing these guys growing in soil.

Is soil grows the only way to add flavor these candy fake flavors?

EC and Ph stay stable in large totes. The smaller ones have some swings until it's dialed in for the strain.

My question comes from reading through this thread and the last post regarding Advance nutrients that make their stuff for hydro.

This is a huge pain. I will see the results soon. Maybe a week to go.

Bud candy is basicly mollases and molasses raises ph in hydro
I use it with zero issues raising my pH. It’s not molasses it’s carbohydrates (yes essentially molasses/sugar). Floral nectar on the other hand lists molasses. That stuff spills or gets on you it’s sticky AF. I actually used both as an experiment.
I had EC and pH swings
