I have a 30 minute status meeting at 11:45 AM. You know that meeting ... you give updates on your completed tasks for 60 seconds then you listen to others make excuses for the next 29 minutes as to why they didn't complete theirs.

But when that yawner is done ... I've got me a 12:15 PM tea time.

Hard drugs for me was when the chunk of hash got a bit dried out and had to use a flame to gently soften it up so a small piece could be broken off for the pipe.

LOL. I just wasn't that smrt. (looks up...whistles into the air)

BIG respect to those who can still walk (LOL) the walk with the booze. :D BT, DT. I'm 22 months w/o a drink or injury from the drink. Heehee.

But that Don Julio did look fine....

Hangover today? O.K. Here you go.

Nice music, genious lyrics (wish you could understand).

I think, If they were english spoken, they would be famous worldwide.

Another songs? Try "Depardieu"- f*****g funny parody for Gerards emigration to Russia, or "gastrosexual"-moravian countrylife:)

In the beginning, the water line in the ceiling broke.

IMG_5376.jpg

8 Years, 2 more plumbing leaks, one plague, and the wife STILL working from her bedroom.

Three walls, the back half of the ceiling all replaced; foundation slab crack, and exterior cinder block repaired, in wall HDMI and electrical for entertainment system (right hand wall,) and new set of stairs and I'm finally getting closer to having a living room again. Next up, light sanding of my spray drips and then apply texture.....

Hopefully by the end of august we'll be back in the living room.

Fantastic. I´m repairing old house (1924) for ten years, I know what it is about.

My house was also built in 1924, lots of work done before I could even move in. Centennial celebration!
My house is a former brick barn:) There is no straight wall. The worst thing is, that you have to take out stuff someone brought in before you, and then take your stuff in. Double work. Should have burnt the place to the ground and then sweep of the ash and start from null. Would be easier. The only good thing is that rooms have good disposals.

My house appears in its current state on a Birdseye view map printed in 1868. The town was founded in 1855, pretty early.
My village was founded in 13th century. I love history and archeology and there is lots to watch and visit around here. WWII fortifications no more then 2 km from here.

I was fascinated by pre-columbian history of both south and north americas, by the way.
