Arson caused, hope they try the guy!
Would you fuckin believe i know who that mother fucker is!
I don’t want to say where he worked but it was where i was getting my sand for the stucco and other things. Dealt with him quite a few times. And get this, total fuckin trumper.
I seen his mugshot and called my buddy who deals with that landscape supply way more than me and he confirmed that was him. Mother fucker is a child molester piece of shit too. Jesus fucking christ.

Edit: btw, he didn’t work at any of the Landscape supply businesses in Chico.

I lost everything in the Camp Fire.
I bet this motherfucker is in complete isolation in jail over in Oroville. I’m sure most heads in there want to murder him.
With what this county has gone through, it’s fucking nuts that somebody could be so fucking stupid.
Really need to bring back state hospitals so people with mental health issues can get the help they need.

So sorry to hear that, there are no words to describe what that kind of loss feels like. I live in Greenville, it burnt to the ground in the Dixie fire(don't even get me started about PG&E). I have a buddy who lives in Paradise, he moved there after he lost everything in the Dixie fire.

I was in the Forrest Ranch area last Sunday to meet up with that friend, sort of a halfway point between us. We went up 32 to smoke some fatties and do some hiking around Potato Patch and Deer Creek Falls.

Damn dude! Sorry to you too.
I lost all my discs in the fire and haven’t played over that way since but i’m wondering how Peregrine Point DG course faired in this fire although there are much worse things to worry about.

I was thinking about this yesterday.

We need to prosecute more and punish heavily for these violations. It's one thing if you get in a car wreck igniting the forest or have an electrical structure fire that spreads. It's another if you're shooting tannerite or driving an ATV off trail. Until thoughtless people have their lives ruined for ruining the lives of thousands of others, no one will adjust behavior.

Where I live, we had a guy start a fire accidentally while otherwise doing something illegal. It was a bad fire, and it wasn't the first time he'd done something selfishly harming others. We put him away for 20 years, and good riddance.

Well in the case of the asshole who started the Park fire here, he has 2 felony strikes already, so i highly doubt he’ll be free anytime soon after this, but I fully agree with you.

Is that all your open land? There is no way you can get torched? Is there ?
No that’s my neighbors land in the pic, except for the top of that oak tree. I’m on 10acres that looks similar to what you see with a few sprinkled trees throughout and a little flatter.
I bought out here because it’s just grassland and not too many neighbors. Much easier to create a defensible space around the house. i’m very safe from the Park fire but we’ve had some close calls out this way already with some smaller fires. But l’m much safer out here compared to up just a little higher in the foothills. Sucks to not have many trees out here. I used to love the trees originally being from the Santa Cruz mountains and all but after what happened in Paradise they scare the hell out of me now. At least here in the NorthState they do.
