Seeking relief for Arthritis/Strain

Hi everyone,

I'm Davis, a 44-year-old gardener with experience in growing cannabis. I'm seeking advice on strains to help with my arthritis pain.
I have intermediate skills and welcome any strain recommendations and growing tips for both indoor and outdoor setups.
Thanks for having me. Looking forward to learning from you all!

Harvest and dry the roots, grind them in a blender till fine powder, I find I grind them, let it dry a few more days and grind them again to get the finer powder. Then pack in capsules and take daily for arthritis pain. I have also found cutting out seed oils significantly helps arthritic pain, that alone permitted me to run again (couldn’t run due to arthritis)

a strain with a decent cbd level helps to

I like JUST found out my thc topicals I made for my family arthritis work for me for muscle sorness. Not usually something smoking/vaping can get to.

They tried it and felt tingling but didnt notice much but I dont think theyre really suffering at the moment. Theyre not that old.

I wouldnt of noticed it unless there was pain to relief in the first place. Not much I can find to read up on topicals. But inflamed joints came up.

I think its worth a try Im trying to get anyone to try it for whatever reason. It may be something I can keep making to provide. Ill get a customer someday even if it starts with just me.

I use weed for nerve pain mostly. I don't know if the strain matters all that much, for me it's more of a disconnect. I have tried so many strains.
I am growing a 1:1 Thc/Cbd plant now. Seedling now. Haven't tried it before.

For inflammation I changed my diet. Keto works well.
Dropping anything with added sugars and processed foods. which btw is almost everything.

I eventually ended up eating carnivore, due to intolerances of other foods. Eggs and Dairy both bother me. Dairy makes me feel like I have a head cold/flu and eggs give me a subtle rash on my chest and face that get worse if I keep eating them.

Never heard this one before, where did you hear this?
Someone told
Me to try it, it was a conversation on here years ago, I did, i had a injury that prevented me from running due to arthritis, I tried everything I could and nothing else worked for me, the doctor told me to get used to walking with a cane for the rest of
My life 25 years ago. I’m 50 now and run a 4 km loop daily and stopped taking roots after 4 years of taking them. I have since learned many roots have medicinal properties. Old world medicine has its place evidently

interesting....similar to Ginseng root, Ginger root, etc. I would think not to use nutes on your plants if wanting to brew up the roots ?

Triangle kush for pain,or look for sunshine daydream really helpful for nerve pain also,or starlight daydream. Bit pricey tho,if you clone would be helpful.

I have had good pain relief with almost any strain of Indica as long as I have a bit of Rick Simpson oil. Last a long time and RSO can be used as an edible as it is pure delta9 from the method of extraction.
Now for an off topic suggestion. If you are not allergic to bee stings I was amazed at what 3 or 4 stings will do for joint pain. Happened a few times as I live in the rural part of Ohio with a few acres. Did some research and I have a hive I can pick meds out of now.

Interesting, were you growing organically? I’m wondering if salt fed coco roots would do more harm than good.
Im desperate enough for relief to try it that’s for sure
