Comeback plant of the year….at least my year.

So I have this plant that started as a seed that was produced by a clone. The plant yielded 5oz or so and there were about 8 seeds……White Truffle x Okie.
I started it inside but I ran out of space in my grow room, so the plan was to veg it outside while my other girls flowered inside. Then I could move it back inside to flower….or just leave it outside.
Thats when Problem #1 occurred. It was too early in the year and the plant immediately started budding. It was relatively small so I opted to give it a few hours of additional light by placing it in my garage at dusk….under a fluorescent shop light.
It just kinda sat there for about 2 weeks….not changing at all. That’s when my adventurous (and idiotic) side took over which led to….
Problem #2…..don’t ask why but I decided to cut all the little budlets off. So that’s what I did and immediately regretted it.
That happened around the end of May……and after sitting in total shock and confusion for about 3 weeks, new growth began to appear.
It was funky at first with single bladed leaves and twisted formations. But after a few weeks of this it finally began to look like a normal vegging plant.
Then I went against some sound advice and brought the plant inside to flower. I understand the logic and risks w/ pests and such. However, the outdoor season here in SW Va can be a real roll of the dice. Sept & Oct are always unpredictable and extreme…..high humidity, tropical storms and big swings in temps.
This led me to bring it inside, but not before several treatments of Dr Zymes.
It’s been about 3 weeks and I flipped to flower 14 days ago. I’ve never had a plant that produced as many trichs so early in the game.
I looks like the buds will be on the smaller side but the strain is not known for huge nuggets anyway.
I did have one question: do re-vegged plants usually yield smaller buds??
There was so much undergrowth and branching it made lollipopping a challenge. The top heads look like they’ll be nice ping pong ball size but any sites below almost don’t look big enough to keep.
if you made it this far in the post, thanks for your attention and I welcome any comments.
