Good to hear. Hope it's clear sailing from here for you
Thanks
I hope so too but chemo is the real killer.
That starts next week, I have recovered from the surgery rather well, I tap danced for physical therapist two days after operation. Also did it yesterday in front of doctor so I could drive again. I don't really tap dance, I do this tap dance motion on skates as a display of balance. So easy enough to do in shoes.

We had 5 inches of rain last night in town main drag got shutdown. Got to get out back and check plants and birds.

Good luck this week boss. Remember, the big guy upstairs doesn't give us any more than we can handle.
God is found at the 50 foot mark from the apex of turn 1 when your brake pedal goes soft.

My Maui Wowie turned out to be an autoflower, so I have no idea what it really is. But one bud was done and now in drying process.

One of my birds jumped out of her cage yesterday, and didn't freak out. Just hung out on table looking for food. Overturned the mealworms and had a feast, the other bird was going nuts trying to join the party. She is starting to understand that I provide food & water and loosing her fear.

Need to get outside some of the plants need support and some of the bamboo after the rain is blocking the sun.

Overall I feel pretty well just don't want to over do it. Chemo starts next week.
My son come home from camp on Tuesday and heads to college on Saturday, I get a few days of manual labor from him.
But I have a pile of cooking to do......

hope you doing well

I had a ring neck dove for a while. I wasn't allowed to be around it with my meds, so I gave it to my father in law. Now I can't go over to his house bongsmilie

What's your favorite cartoon character?

They have mentioned nothing about keeping birds. I keep mentioning it, going out to my garden to deal with my spoiled birds. They were raised from eggs and I am getting ready to start a load in incubator. It is warming up as I type. The females produce an egg a day. I am hoping to have black and white birds roaming my backyard.
Have two female birds been in hospital cages since they were attacked, and going to put in same cage in my smoking room. Keep me entertained while smoking. The incubator is there too so in 16 days will have little chicks for the brooder.

Cartoon character that is tough. Skipper the penguin from Madagascar

The females fighting? Or just rolling around in the sand and wing flicking it everywhere?
No they toss the sand through the feathers and it helps clean them. No they seem to get along fine. They were both over the side of the cage where I was talking to them and there beak moves up and down and a little noise come out as it looks like they are talking back. No pecking at each other they both ate and drank at same time. One bird keeps trying to climb in covered seed dish, they like to scratch up there food.
I had all 6 from first hatching in same cage till about the 3 month mark. Then the males started to go crazy and unlike chickens quail like there own sub species and don't get along with non family. So one non tuxedo type started attacking all the other birds he got solitary and then was given the Free Willy option. Rapid Bang was heard a few times then he was gone.

Trying to keep positive about this. Some times it is difficult. Wife had colon rectal that was an adventure.
You look for the little things, i spent 13 days waiting to take out staples, I took out 5 or 6 that were easy to see. The fellow took out the rest, he had never had that request before. Boy each one felt good as it came out.

I watched one drop an egg. She scratches a hole in the sand odder absorbent, puffs herself up to twice the normal size. Then it looks like she disjoints herself in middle and in a minute or two an egg slides out. She stays there for a few minutes kind of stunned. Then never goes near the egg again.

I put on the Clash and they both seemed to be singing along with it.

Well visited the chemo doctor and that trial start in about 30 days.
Was just out in garden with weed wacker, doctor was like that a no no. Weighs less than 10 lbs. I am not doing anything excessive but I am getting killed with all the bugs so have to reduce the overgrowth.
Told them two birds sit on my table and they entertain me. They said with current chemical I don't have to avoid anything. Wait till I mention I am teaching welding and looking for welding projects. TIG welder bench top fabrication stuff.
My son came home from camp that crimps my burn schedule.... But he goes back to college on Saturday.
