Happy Sunday Brother!

Amber trichomes is great, especially when there are more amber than clear or cloudy. I love looking at trichomes. It's one of my favorite things to look at. I bought a small desktop microscope that hooks up to my computer. It was less than $100 and I use the shit out of it. It comes in handy for a lot of things. Plus it takes the picture and saves it.

As for the weird pistols on the top, I do not have much experience with foxtailing. I had an auto flower growing last year that did that. It was not ready to chop and started stacking the calyxes in a peculiar fashion. I let it grow until it was ready. She looked a little odd but was righteous. I don't think its a big deal. What is peculiar to me is that she is outside, most fox tailing I have read about are indoor plants. She is looking good though, and it seems she is very happy. Plant like her fatten up nicely during their last two or so weeks! I know that for sure! I hope you have a nice morning!

Next year I'm getting one of those microscopes too, to take photos with as well. I know you can get some Bluetooth variants that are portable. That would be very nice for outdoor growing.

I have no idea if it's actually foxtailing or not, that's just the first word that popped into my head. But I do know that some plants can foxtail because of genetics, it doesn't have to be because of heat stress etc.

So perhaps this is just a genetic thing, or it's not foxtailing at all. I will look into it some more

Thanks for the input as always. So are you saying I still have one to two weeks to go? Or just that it has fattened up significantly because it's at the final stage.

Just a quick general update.

The Early skunk in the ground is doing decently, all the Frisian Ducks, including the one in the ground, are hating their existence. Frisian Dew is stretching and looking happy.

Sweet Tooth Auto isn't looking happy if you judge by the leaves, but if you judge by the buds it's a happy plant. I assume it's just a result of sucking out the last nutrients before finishing.

Bonsai Sweet Tooth Auto is flowering and I believe I've gotten a pretty decent spread of tops via training, let me know!

Your Bonsai Sweet Tooth looks pretty cool. I'm interested in how good it will smoke! The tops on this one look nice too, you did a decent job with that. It's nice that you can put your plants outside in the ground. I haven't done that in over 25 years. Been indoor since the late 80's early 90's. Do you ever have animals like deer or rabbits snack on the plants?

Your big Sweet Tooth looks good too. I'm glad you left it to further mature. All the leaves ought to start dying on that plant before long. She is getting really close.

I assume the Sweet Tooth will be on par with the other Sweet Tooth, that I sampled a few times Just not expecting a very big yield! I haven't noticed anything large snacking on my plants yet. The biggest have been slugs, but we have a lot of hedgehogs that I think eat the slugs, not my plants, luckily.

I prefer growing indoors as well, as soon as I get a more permanent living situation I will be going that route again I believe. Just easier and cleaner and better-looking plants. Annoying having to deal with thrips and caterpillars and slugs etc.

Hoping I can harvest the big sweet tooth next week or so, but I've been thinking that for several weeks now.

I have not grown the early skunk before, it was a free seed I got alongside the Frisian Dew and Frisian Duck, I'm hyped for it tho. Might grow it again next year under better conditions. This year it was just grown in a jiffy pellet and then buried in the ground and left to fend for itself. I have barely given it any nutrients. I bet it could be a monster like the Frisian Dew if given some love.

I will be sure to keep updating, also with a smoke report when everything is harvested, probably in October I believe Frisian Dew will be harvested at the end of September and Frisian Ducks + Early Skunk will be end of October if the info from Seedfinder is correct.

Nothing to speak of here, have had a very decent summer with minimal rain. Lots of wind though, but with all the bricks on the pots it's not even an issue.

Wondering if I should be getting some bamboo sticks for late in flowering though. The Sweet Tooth Auto hasn't had anything bend or break, I hope the same goes for the Frisian Ducks + Frisian Dew.

Yeah here's not been so good this year but we are probably more influenced by the Atlantic than you I'm on the coast pretty much as well

I never envied the British weather that's for sure!

Lol Scottish not so much British the English get better weather than us most of the time the north there is a bit closer to us is closer to our climate the south is drier Wales can be hit and miss like us and northern Ireland varys too tho I think they slightly drier than us up here thing is tho here has lots of microclimates too some of our western islands get better weather than mainland scotland

Frisian Ducks are still unhappy. I've tried upping the feed but they don't seem to be responding. It's odd.

The duck side of things won't like cooler weather id imagine whereas the rest handled it better possibly? What do you think

I'd be surprised if it was that, they have all been looking bad for a month+ now, and we still have day temps of 20c roughly, I think perhaps the strain is just sensitive or weak in some way, Early Skunk is happy despite growing in the ground in dirt with no nutrients added, Frisian Dew is happy, Sweet Tooth is happy.

Maybe I need to up the nutrients even more.

Frisian Dew, stretching and stems are turning purple, looking forward to seeing the buds. Also showing the trunk of the Frisian Dew, it's not pretty! I had to wire two branches together because I 90% snapped one of them off, it's a "Nearly headless Nick" situation.

Some new pictures of the Sweet Tooth Auto, now seeing the photos of the buds, it seems like it's not anywhere near ready. I can't spot any amber in the pictures. I did spot some amber in person, but not anywhere near 5% let alone 30%. Guess I won't be harvesting it next week, but that's ok. No stress.

Perhaps, I know some strains are more sensitive to PH swings than others. Perhaps that's what the Ducks dislike

I did that today, hopefully, that helps complement the liquid feeds.
