You the real gI’ve grown in Hempys for years. We found that our indoor grow does best with 70/30 CoCo/ Perlite mix using Jacks 321
Outdoors, we use Turface as its weight keeps the pots from blowing over. JM2¢

This is a bit of a sideways answer, since I reckon I don't grow pure hempy. I use perlite/vermiculite mix, but in 20 oz disposable cups and do a drain to waste.English not my first language. I've been using Dynagro grow with 100% perlite 5 GA Hempy buckets for a long time.. Is anyone continuing on with the new Superthrive GROW now that the two companies has merged? I see the analysis between the two products looks same but are they chemically processed the same way to attain same analysis? Or is Superthrive doing something corporate-cheap-route to get to same analysis? Hear anything on this? Are 100% perlite Hempy people not sticking around for the Superthrive GROW and switching to other hydro nutrients? Please advise.
I'm also sitting on 600 pound of perlite (grow store owner owed me money so I stuck with it) so I not want to switch to coco/Jacks hempy or coco drip like greengenes etc.. And Jacks in 100% perlite I'm sketch out to try as I read old timer growers warning against it in 100% perlite (or even using it in traditional perlite/vermiculite Hempy) and to keep Jacks to soil grows or coco hempy only. I guess I end questions here as that a lot of questions. Thank you for any advice
No reason Jacks will not work in perlite Hempy buckets, I have done it in the past.English not my first language. I've been using Dynagro grow with 100% perlite 5 GA Hempy buckets for a long time.. Seems unnecessary to me. What's the difference between RDTW and flood and drain?Has anyone ever put air stones in the bottom of their reservoir? Similar to the way auto pots operate when you use the air stone kit. I'm planning on running 70% coco/20% perlite /5% EWC/5% Biochar, in 5 gallon hempys running RDTW. Just kinda curious if its worth the extra effort. I figure if it gives me problems i can just turn it off.
