There is less than a billion people in those 3 countries all told so how's that work? Not much over half a billion if that.is said to contain the personal data of nearly 3 billion people living in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada
I got an alert from AAA>Experian the other day that my SS, DOB, etc was revealed. This is from the massive data breach by National Public Data. No doubt they'll be a surge of penetration attempts by hackers in the coming months. Make sure you've established account(s) in any .gov or .mil especially ssa.gov/myaccount/ and irs.gov/your-account and have enabled MFA on these and any banking or investment accounts. Way back in the prehistoric dawn of the computer era, I was guilty of using the same password on many accounts, course now you can't do that. Haven't decided if I want to freeze my credit yet.Experian found my ss# on the dark web a week ago. I put a fraud alert up for that. A day later I got an email in my spam folder from some gmail addy that had my full name, addy, city and state written on it. Had a pdf attachment with my name on it. I blocked the sender and didn't click anything. Fishing scam with infected file you think?
