Sooty mold or purple phenotype

Long time since I posted anything. F3 strain based of some ak47. Feeling like this plant features some dark purple characteristics. Or is it sooty mold? I have a garden full if this gen with the same look. Worth saving and revenging for next season?

Can't tell from that picture. Probably from cooler weather. Don't know what your plant growth looked like prior to it.
If you start getting delayed stunted growth at the tops or spreading where it makes contact with other leaves, might be a phage.
Curly top virus also turns plant tops purple, thats unusual in weed.

Thanks mate for the feedback. Every single bud site on that plant looks like that picture. Other plants have all bud sites with that color or no color dark color at all at the bud sites. The last grow had a few purple plants but this one has significantly more if the color is not mold.

Go with the cooler nights causing it, that's the only way it's all going to change. Phage is spotty, might get a few tops and spread.
Should look great all cured up.

I don't *think* it's sooty mold, but I'm only a newbie myself.
Sooty mold is caused by insects so check your leaves front and back for aphids, mealybugs etc. The insects eat the plant sap and then produce honeydew (aka poop) which feeds the mold.

Granddaddy Purple shot from my garden. I'd treat yours like a purple and you have options for next season.

Dealing with this as well on a couple plants…just going to let them rock out as it seems it’s not moving to other heads of the plant. My question is, is the plant safe to smoke?
No idea if its safe to smoke might pay to google the disease
