Going to grab some paint at the Labor day sales. Got the texturing and priming done in the living room.
The end of this room is finally no longer looking like fusion power; more 10 years out.
If we get the color up tonight, let it cure for a week before taping back up to texture and finish the ceiling,
I'll actually be done with this room by next week. bongsmilie

Then on to yank up the carpet and patch/paint the guest/room-mate bedroom, about two weeks worth of work, then have new carpet installed and the downstairs is 100% again. The next two rooms (dining room and library) will be a piece of cake compared to the living-room since they won't be being used as storage space anymore and I can install the floating floor we bought last year. I can see the end to this almost decade long remodel, or at least a point where there will be period of time all the rooms in the house are operational.

The kitchen needs a full make-over, but that discussion is a big one given it's a full redesign with the ceiling and a wall coming out and a new peninsula/pass through. Everyone's agreed I get at few months off between this litany of repairs and that task.
Good luck. I remodeled my house in Salt lake, I feel your pain.

I had plans to do absolutely nothing yesterday, but ended up putting myself in trim jail. I was supposed to harvest last week, but I was way too busy. Knocked out 4 of 6 plants, so I'll finish up the other 2 today, then try to put in a clean system into flower with new plants from veg. Then reward myself with a long bike ride. Had gigs Thursday-Sunday, and another busy 3 day work weekend coming up. This is the busiest time of the year until the holidays, so I'm pacing myself and making sure to get sufficient sleep. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. Now back to life, back to reality!

Mornin' all. Tuesday, huh? LOL. Whatever.

Seriously nice weather here...almost too nice. It's rare in September here at elevation to see a 2 week forecast that has no changes in it. Roughly 80/50f and sunny with only a few chances of precip for the next 14 days. Warm enough at night to avoid frost but it's definitely starting to trend downward.
The girls will love it...

On the veggie front....we took down a dozen pepper plants that offered their bounty but have no blooms currently. We could take them in the dome and get a second flush in Nov/Dec. but I think we're gonna be AOK on supply for the duration...so no real need to push it. I'm sure a few will get a respite...but there comes a time when I'm just over it...LOL. Cut off all tomato blooms last week. Whatever is there is it. Trying to avoid hauling 200 tomatoes into the garage to ripen as we've done in far too many seasons. Beans are laden heavily. Beets are ready. Just gotta do the deed and spend the time required to can things up.

If everything works out as I'd like...the veggies will be over before the weed harvest begins. We will see. Lotsa projects on tap for the Fall if the weather holds. Fall seems to be the time of year when we get the most shit done...cus I hate >hot< and refuse to work in it anymore. (like driving in the snow)

Have a supa day!
