I’m just *itching* to see these scumbags get their hides ripped
IMO *EVERYONE IN CONGRESS* who takes any step at all to do his will - in this or in any of his extra-illegal ‘workarounds’ - should be scoured from their seats and jailed pending trial: IANAL but I’m pretty sure that, for a sitting member of Congress, taking orders from unofficial voices *as if* they were the president, & not the actual occupant of the office IS treason

pretending MAGA officials are working for anyone but Chump is lunacy @ this point. We should stop WATCHING their corruption & strip them of office & reputation

“I support law officers but pay them, fuck that”. And people actually vote for this guy?
This is one of the ways you can tell there’s brainwashing in action: when professional expertise & ethics evaporates if the subject turns to their king/messiah/pimp, there’s literally a break in their cognition - and they can’t see it no matter how it’s explained, described or conveyed…because that’s how it works

Which is why Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger stand out so brightly: they recognized what they were seeing the moment they saw it & said no! Stood up & KEPT saying no. Still saying no.

This is the difference between r3publicans & MAGA: republicans - true conservatives, that is - have principles they adhere to - even when it’s embarrassing, inconvenient, or existential, even if it costs them votes, even when it costs them money. One can only be true to who & what one is, anything else is a lie

MAGA, OTOH, have no principles - they have passions. They have a need for a Big Asshole to lead them against the people they don’t like…mostly people who don’t care for big assholes….
