You can maybe get away with lollipopping a bit. Usually autos you don't want to do too much training on them. Lst is the most I would do with autos and some light lollipopping.

I've grown auto and photos but I only started in 2021 so I did grow autos "back in the day". I see zero difference between autos and photos in terms of how to maintain them. I've had monstrous autos and one of the reasons I have switched to photos is that I can't control the height of an auto - they just grow on their own schedule.

Re. removing leaves - I can't think of how it benefits the plant to remove healthy leaves.
Leaves are used for photosynthesis, as nutrient stores, and are used for transpiration.
If a leaf is very damaged, remove it. If a leaf is way deep in the plant, heavily sensesced, and very old, I'll take it off. Also, there's a need to be concerned about air flow and bud rot so, after adding fans, it makes sense to remove leaves to increase airflow.
But, other than those reasons, cutting off healthy leaves on a plant just so they can be forced to replace them seems to me more like running in place than making progress.
