Yes, I have put seedlings straight into 17 gallon sips without a problem. Top water them lightly as needed to get the roots started.

No worries it just gives me chances, to think so I got me self some Rubber Maid Brute two of them and made two of these ,popping seeds as we speak . The sips are ready soil has been cooking in my little soil factory for some time now . Am making my own Bokashi , will try that grokashi , if I get everything for it or just ferment different gains and veggies that we know have the plant needs, got my own worms so blackgold is in the house.
Massive sips your going to have some big awesome plants good work

All good, you can start from seeds in a sip, you can plant seedlings or clones straight into sips

Thanks Tim , I would like to say you made me buy my first earthbox , I love it use it outside for summer growing sun is shining I just take a picture of it , I put th Congo seed in the sip early this morning, so I’ll keep you up dated , it’s a 76liter bin I can have 20liters before is starts running out, I packed in 60liters of soil that said I don’t know how am going to treat her since I have so much free time maybe make so cuts out of her. We will see when we get there , like I said before I can’t get most of the stuff you have on that side of the water so I mixed my soil with the closest organic material available to me soil has cooked for over 18months

so little update Jack died over the weekend, don’t know if all them small animals eat her, anyway I found a replacement for her same day , took a clone , that had just barely rooted. Pics loaded we talking Sunday afternoon, and now three days later we are on the move , I think the roots have hit water . Strain is Tropical Snow https://growdiaries.com/seedbank/zenseeds/tropical-snow
it was taken from an outdoor grow in flower , and is still not done and the weather has changed for the worst, so chances of moldy buds is high ,

I need to repair my Cob light panel, it went dark last spring while I was germinating some veggies for the garden, good thing it wasn't a weed grow!! And I think I will do a winter grow again, I started last year's grow on October 1st, I will probably be a little later than that this year, I got some tips on diagnosis of my light in the led forum here on RIU, injust need to get on it, I also think I will grow from seed this time instead of clones , I'm tired of the clone selection here it's all crosses with new names and never the same strains , so I'm going to get some seeds and hopefully find some old strains i enjoyed on previous grows, and of course my grow box sip, my health is really good again after several surgeries and such, hope everyone is doing well

One quick question, for those who have run sips for a while , I have 10 clones and two size containers one is 12.8l that’s about 3.8gallins then there’s 17. Something that’s 4.6gallons question is limited space quick run from 1liter pots into sips flipping after three days what size container would you go for there’s just a one gallon difference,

If it’s me you are asking, then I’ll say no it something like this
https://www.auer-packaging.com/dk/da/Spande-firkantet/EE-17-395.295DK.html?color=9016 , I have an auto in a 12.8lt now so far everything looks good , am thinking nuff people say one gallon a month so flipping them three days i to the sips should e good .
Reason I ask , is because when I posted in a hydroponics thread , I was told its sips , lol.

To me, any media outside soil , where all the nutrients are contained in the watering solution - is hydroponics . Whether it be coco , perlite , hydroton , grodan etc ..

@Tim Fox seed in sip from start I think , one has to put some other soil in the hole , my soil is still too hot for seeds , the big one went in at 17days it’s an auto, small is an auto too can see she’s fighting for life , the Congo is maybe a no show cause of the same . A few pictures of her when she settled in and now

Sips are pissing me off , look at this girl, I need to spend more time with her and her sisters in the future, they grow big in only 5g . Was running on teas and own super hot soil , now am thinking maybe 5/6 weeks more I gave it some bananas three weeks ago could see nuff worms and roots in the top . I have a good feeling with her took some clone off her at 21days in flower , it’s in 20lt/5g bucket

I would agree with that we do tend to mix our soils hot and I've always used clones

The thing I wanted to really do was beds , throw beans in have a beanstalk or two growing in it , then I joined RIU , started read saw the sip post that sent 25yrs back, I got a sip pot for growing on the balcony, I’ll take a picture of it later, so I never really thought of cutting it with the peat moss, I just cut 20gallons with coco loco , it’s very heavy and mixed this https://www.humintech.com/agriculture/products/perlhumus-granules it and added seaweed to my mix too never had , I feel the hydroshops here over charging us on everything with name on it , so am always on the hunt, for products so I can finish building my soil , animal feed shops talk to farmers find the right organic products with no GMO , I say for the sip is winner , now it just sharpening my finger , and take care of the ladies
