Nitrogen toxcity

Hey guys

Growing x3 auto girls scout cookies
Soil: biobix all mix
Light: spider farmer sf2000 hanging approx 20" at 75%
Age of plants: 23 days from germination
Nutrition: bcuzz

This is My first time growing with the bcuzz soil a+b + blossom builder liquid grow guide. Currently at week 3 so using 1ml per l of a+b and 0.1ml per l soil booster.

One of my plants have stunted growth the other two are growing nice. However I am seeing signs of nitrogen toxicity where larger fan leafs are darker green and most new leafs are clawing... the stems feel quite bendy aswell.

Since its my first go using the grow guide, I have a feeling I am adding too much N since the soil is quite hot anyway... also, the grow guide suggests increasing the a+b towards the end... this would include more N Into flower, which I understand plants need less N? Pics can be provided if needed.

Anyone have experience with this grow guide? Should I flush or should reduce a+b on next water? I am concerned since they are autos.

Thanks in advance

Grow guide I am following

The plants dont look bad. How often are you feeding a+b? Do you let the soil dry out completely before every feed? If so, try watering the soil before feeding a+b. Liquid fertilizer are more concentrated in dry soil because it doesn't dilute the fertilizer as much as moist soil would. Plants absorb nutrients more efficiently when soil is dry, as roots are more active in searching for water and nutrients. Its possible the plant is absorbing more N because of this.

You could simply dial back the dose on the N to half strength, and bump it up to full strength when the plant starts looking hungry again.

I water based on top few Inches of soil being dry. The last water was 2l of water with 2ml a+b and 0.5 soil boost. That was done 2 days ago. This amount at this stage gives a nice run off.

I will reduce a+b on next water and see how it goes. Thanks

When u say water before feeding... do you mean water first then add more water with nutrition added? Sorry confused by this advise

Yes, that's what he's saying. Moisten the media first, then add fertigation.
Thanks for clarification. I have never heard of doing anything like this before
I'll try it on my next water. Since 2l is providing run off, would you suggest 2l of water to moisten first then 2l with the nutrition specified on the grow guide?

I've never really heard of it before either, but it might not hurt to try it. The medium is only going to hold the moisture it can hold on to. Just make sure you get a good dry cycle before trying.

Yep I expect it will be a few days until they're ready for watering. When the time comes, I'll half the recommendation from the guide. So I'll water 2l plain ph6 water then I'll add 2l water with 1ml a+b and 0.1 soil booster.

I'll let you know how it goes in a week or so

Moistening the soil before feeding is essentially the same thing as diluting the liquid fert dose. At least thats how I understand it.

That is what I already do.... at this stage, I will my watering can with 2l water, add the nutes and give it a good stir... maybe next water ill just double the water but half the nuts (4l water with 2ml a+b and 0.2 soil booster)

What you think?

I think that would help. It would be similar to flushing the soil a bit.

I've seen worse. They'll bounce back.
Stop feeding them for while.
All Mix is super rich in nutrients already.
I'd just give them a good watering for a few goes
Thanks!!! How would I know when to introduce notes again? And would it be as per the grow guide I mentioned?

I've grow over 10 successful grows but we're a little airy changed notes to help bulked the buds but obviously causing problems lol

Just keep an eye on them for a week or two.
You shouldn't need to pH the water using all mix.
Maybe the plant strain you are growing naturally produces airy buds?
