i cut 8" off the drain pipe for the trellis height and the two black rainbow still havent reached the net lol. probably a better plant for sea of green rather than scrog there super squat looking indicas. i also didnt read when buying shit online i stupidly bought 6" x 6" trellis rather than 3" x 3" so i folded it in half such a mess lol

Do you measure your DLI by chance?
500 ppfd @ 18 hours is 32.4 DLI however, something to note i am using 1500-1600 ppm co2 in the room and some varieties can take more light than others. i also noticed you have to work your way up to higher numbers. in flower im usually increasing it a bit every week until i hit 1150-1200 ppfd on the meter. 1200 is pretty well the max on hlg scorpion light if your following hlg's recommended height for hanging the light at 20-24 inches away. any closer and you'll affect light spread as the boards will be too close.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah I'm experimenting with intensity/DLI with my current run. I just want to maximize my space and time.

so I'd like to talk about pressing kief into temple balls. somebody got me a sous vide for cooking a few Christmas ago and it had been collecting dust for a while since i didn't have a vacuum sealer at the time i recently figured out i can put my two wine bottles in with the sous vide for keeping it at the perfect temperature of 180f for pressing which has been working very nicely.

i've also been buying these bags for putting your turkey in the oven which work perfect for keeping all the kief in one place

once the kief is nice and dry i put it between these two sheets of plastic and roll over it with the hot wine bottles like a rolling pin once it cools a bit i just switch over to the other bottle

yea probably you may not get a piece that size, the machine that i use holds about 300 grams of dry material. i just use all the sugar leafs and popcorn buds. should keep all that stuff separate dont even bother curing it just make sure its super dry when you bag it. can even leave it until the next runs harvest if you dont think you got enough the first time. no biggie about the curing the material. the curing will happen once the kief has been pressed into a ball. it takes about 6 months for a temple ball to cure itll change from being hard as a rock into a super soft resin ball the consistency of play doh
