My Latest Grow

Personally, I hate Miracle Grow products. But I know of several people who use it with good results. You gotta remember that the nutrients in that soil are meant for vegetative growth for a wide variety of plants. For growing marijuana, you really want nutrients that are better suited for the different phases of growth the plants will go through. The plants have different nutritional requirements depending on which stage they are in. You could try growing with just that soil, but don't expect great results. You will most likely encounter various nutritional deficiencies as time goes on, which will have a big impact on your yield and quality. But I guess it really depends on what your goals are. If you are not serious about it and are just playing around, you'll be fine. However, if you are trying to produce the highest quality bud and get the best possible yield, you'll really need to step up your game and invest in some quality nutrients. Anyone can throw a seed in some dirt and end up with some bud, bud it takes a good amount of planning an investment to do it right.

Yeah, they OK. Move the light closer if you can because I can see they are stretching a bit. Those won't need any nutes for at least 2-3 more weeks under that lighting. I suggest you buy your nutes from a hydro shop or online. At places like Home Depot and WalMart you will only find horseshit by Miracle Grow, Schultz, Scotts, and Peter's. They all suck. I suggest FoxFarms products which you can get at most reputable hydro shops, or online. And make sure you buy the right one for the stage of growth you are in. While they are in the vegetative phse, you want something high in nitrogen and lower in phophorous and potassium. During flowering, this changes and you will need something much lower in nitrogen, but higher in phosphorous and potassium. This is why the stuff in Miracle Grow and the shitty generic "plant food" you'll find at Home Depot are not suitable for growing ganja.

my grow has been going pretty well actually..
i'm about to update next lights on (in 2 hours)
which will make her two weeks exact..

i see that you're doing your thing with your grow..
they are looking real nice from what i can see..
how long into flowering are you right now?
looks like you're in the middle of it..

yo dude am loving your work keep it up and keep us posted, here is my sweet tooth they are now ready and ive made a start on getting them down, they were in veg for 3 weeks and flower for approx 11/12 weeks, all done in hydro tanks 6 plants in total 4 in one tank 2 in another, never seen stems/branches this thick in 8/9 years of growing, and all plants have nothing but fat bud, have had a taste and its awsome stuff look after them dude they will be kind to you.

Regarding the use of BigBloom, cut it back to 1TBSP per gallon of water at every watering when you go into the flowering cycle. Use 1/4tsp of Open Sesame along with 2tsp of Tiger Bloom per gallon of water at EVERY OTHER WATERING for the first two full weeks of flowering. Again, always include 1TBSP of Big Bloom per gal. even on the days you are not feeding with the other nutes. The BigBloom will help your plants avoid nutrient lockup and should really be thought of as a supplement rather than a nutrient.

Sweet Tooth is my Achilles Heel. I get weak in the knees just thinkin' about the sweet, creamy smoke it produces I'm planning on flowering them for between 8-9 weeks depending on when they're actually at peak potency. My anticipated harvest date is Jan.14, but we all know that planning a specific harvest date is sorta like trying to predict a pregnant woman's delivery date. It'll be ready when the good lord says it's ready

Baking Soda will do the job nicely. For 1 gallon of solution, use 1/4tsp of Baking Soda to raise the pH by 2 points. If you need to raise it by more than 2 points you should really get some pH-Up solution because Baking Soda will also raise your EC/PPM.
