Wednesday garden pics
the ladybugs have settled in and some have settled on each other.
the girls seem to have made it through the super rainy weather that we’ve had since Friday. No rain at all for the foreseeable future so I’m letting them live, for now.
bubblegum is looking rough. Zoom in on those leaves and cringe. This is the plant with the most aphids, and lots of gray spots on yellowing leaves. Just gross lol.

Chernobyl is looking a bit better but she officially has aphids now as well.
she’s a couple weeks behind the other one but honestly they’re both coming down by the end of next week. My outdoor grow days are coming to a close.

Opportunity to crack a bunch of seeds, like 24-50 from pollen chucks, find some keepers.My outdoor grow days are coming to a close.
Keep the best ones inside, find a male, toss the rest outside as late as possible to keep them short and managable.
I just treat the outdoor as seed crop, takes all the worry out of losing a harvest. Pretty happy with last year's chuck, did well outside.

Here’s my hump day update. The Malawi buds are starting to fatten some.
Showing some frost as well now.
The Golden Tiger is taking her sweet ass time, but finally stopped stretching and started forming up buds, although it is going on week 9 to even start plumping up buds. I think she’s going to be 18+ weeks in flower.
The Puck is getting close to harvest already, another week or two.
She’s getting nice and sticky, just needs to fatten up a bit more.

It can be a challenging for sure, but it’s been so much fun and worth it. I really just grow for myself and friends, so I don’t need quantity. The Puck will last me until next harvest alone even if these two sativas go forever.

Like everyone, been super busy these days. Kids back to school, work going nuts, Outlaws in town tomorrow for Rosh Hashanah shenanigans. I’m knackered.
Garden Wednesday. Late Evening Edition. Spell of dry weather, so these gals will stay out for at least a week more. Need to clear space up at the SIL’s for hang drying. The rooms we use for drying are in her basement and the family gatherings are there this weekend. She grows, I grow, it’s kind of part of the fall festivities at this point.
