I've been using AC Infinity equipment for a few years and recommend them highly (except their lights). I've used Pulse and Inkbird previously but retired most of that gear two years ago in favor of AC Infinity. They're very well priced, highly reliable, the sensor is very accurate and it reports every second. I've run the Controllers via WiFi but not Bluetooth. The only issue I've had is that the glue that holds the magnet in the body of the Controller so that it sticks to their little equipment board gave melted when temperature in the tent hit 85 or so. Other than that, no complaints.
I have a 2' x'4 tent that uses a Controller 69 Pro + to control a 6" fan, a 6" oscillating fan, their small humidifier, their heater, and a 4" inline fan, I've used it to control a heating mat for a grow dome and have used their adapters to control a Mars SP3000 and an SP3000R.
No issues with things not "operating properly". Each device has its own lead that plugs into the body of the C69 and electronics on board determine the device type and control it accordingly.
I've been using a 4 " AC Afinity cloudline fan for quite some time now, a couple of years, and so far so good. BUT, I've been reading some really bad reviews of other products they sell. The humidifier is a complete piece of junk. There was one review were someone bought 3 humidifiers and they all failed in a couple of months. The humidity readings from the unit are also way off. One AF customer used 3 hydrometers to read RH in his grow tent, and it was 10 points off. (all 3 hydrometers said 60RH, The AC Afinity humidifier showed 70RH.) This has me wondering how well built AC Afinity really is...
For the price, I'd like to think AC Afinity is a high end product, but I wonder. The cloudline fan is all plastic and doesn't seem to be as solid as other fans I've considered. So far it has been reliable, but I wonder for how long. To be honest it seems to be the same type of fan I see often for a lot cheaper. Yes, they have "smart systems" that all work together but this seems like a lot of bells and whistles. What I really need is a well build fan that will last, I could care less about how well it syncs to my iphone....For those that do care about all the bells and whistles, let me warn you that many complain about how difficult it is to make them work...
I'm very curious to know how commercial growers feel about AC Afinity products...Do they use them or do they know better? Please note: I am not slamming AC Afinity, I am not saying its a bad company. I'm just not too sure your getting anything special for the money spent.
