Maybe that's my next try, everything this year out of 6 strains got hit.

Well 2024 is officially in the books for me. I really had a decent year, very little rot up until near the end. No PWM and no pest to speak of. I ended up with 4.75 pounds from four plants. Had worst years for sure, looking forward to 2025. I’ll be starting some Cherry Bomb, Oreoz, and some Sour Gorilla sometime in February.

To me if it's strong carrot terps it's probably sat leaning id guess cos I've never came across those in indica Dom stuff always sat leaning or 50 50 stuff containing something like Indian or zamal like in the mix I feel those kind of terps come from the sativa side of things maybe he has selected away from that side of things hence the change or then again maybe your right and it's something new added to it who knows just a thought bud

Mine had massive thick bladed leaves and minimal side branching, just one big single cola on a very compact frame's. Planted first of June and done by the end of September, final height was just a little over 4 ft tall.

Getting some nice terpenes off those? Got a couple in the ground here just about ready. Raining here now, went out and checked on them and starting to see a few small spots of botrytis here and there. Will cut those out but probably living on borrowed time here as we get into the classic Maine October weather pattern. Wind a couple days ago was insane--literally pushed both plants over about 45 degrees (but no broken branches). Staked them back upright. Thinking they'll both get chopped before next weekend. Supposed to get some frost this week.

Oh ya great terps reeking i might say. We just got a inch of rain last 12 hrs just checked them not a spot of rot going to let these roll until rot rears its head I find once the temps get to 30s at night rot seems to stop. Iam hoping these turn black they are getting close.

You got plenty more seeds? I can send another handful if you need.

Should have the 2nd generation seeds soon from this year too. Curious to see if/how the PTK adapts to my soil/climate.

Missed the window on the northern lights again this year, still getting the hang of collecting pollen. Will buy another pack of NL #5 and try again next year.

The PTK x NL seeds produced a nice plant, drying in the shed now. The NL genes seemed to reduce the finishing time by a couple weeks compared to the straight PTK.

All in all a good season with a stellar september this year. We'll probably pay for it next year!

harvested all yesterday..lost about 60%, the rest are on the drying rack! Has anybody ever seen trichomes like this? pretty much most of the trichomes I see in the scope have very skinny almost shriveled stalks? is this a strain specific feature? effect of growing in an outdoor environment ? it looks like a warzone, i'm assuming bugs play a role in gooing them up and making them stick together.. I noticed whenever I grow indoors the stalks are super thick and well formed..thought it was mold spores for a second as it looks kinda stringy under a 60x loupe



and i’m assuming those thread like things i’m seeing are just trichomes sticking together and spreading apart? looks a lot like strands of mycelium
