I know u run 700 scale. Does ur meter convert to 500? That's what I run. Curious to what ppm that is on that scale

reading 1130 right now on the 500 scale

Lookin good brother. What's ur style. How many times a day u flood and how deep? Can u reuse substrate or buy new every time? U got me seriously thinking of breaking mine out. Maybe w coco cause I can burn it when done. I have hard time disposing of 20 3gal pots of dirt every 3 months...

Yes you can reuse hydroton....can be a pain getting all the roots out...but doable....I found it easiest to dry them in the sun to get rid of roots.
I hear ya on disposing of dirt....I think my yard has gained a few inches of depth from dumping dirt.
You better have a HUGE area for 20 buckets of growth!

It's too easy...you got to dig yours out and set a few pots up at least!
I got some rockwool cubes coming to try. Not going to do the single plant thing though.
Going to try them on the AC wicks instead of soil.

Man...pretty simple to set up? How do u know the depth you're gonna flood? I mean say I wanted 6" of solution to flood my pots..is there a Guage or what. U just play w it? How's that work?

Inside the "brain" there are floats that you can adjust to get whatever flood depth you want. I flood to around 4" below the top of bucket. If you go hydroton you can flood up to every 2 hrs...that's what I do.
Simple as connecting the hose between them.

Alright. When I get my 3x3 back in motion I'll grow 4 glorious bastards. But I'm enlisting your help! Right now I'm on botanicare n will probably leave it the 1 bottle way. Too easy not to.
