I am new to them since Spring. The closures keep failing no matter how careful I am. Either the zipper separates from the bag itself or they actually rip. They should be as durable as a regular kitchen ziploc bag. I like the tech tho.

I haven't had that experience with them. Did you get them on Amazon?

In Chicago (and I'm sure other big cities) a lot of people steal smart phones while riding their bikes. They just ride by and pluck the phone right from people's hands, I've seen it happen twice. The phone holder is completely oblivious to their surroundings, so it is really like taking candy from a baby. I like to think that they may be doing the victim a favor in the long run...

Wind storm just knocked the power out. I forgot that this type of thing happens during fall, winter, and spring...
At least the plants are looking happy.


How do some of you deal with power outages when you have a plants in flower? Lucky for me, all the plants are still vegging.

I run coco with pump/timer from two cascading reservoirs. The pump/timer is on a universal power supply so no feed interruptions, the long duration of dark doesn't effect the plants even in flower. I have gone 30 hrs without power without issue to the grow.

Okay, so I’m not the only one. That’s been my biggest gripe with GroveBags. Agree that the tech and concept are wonderful, just feels like execution on durability lacks.

About to bag up the Apple Fritter and heat seal. Then off to the dark for a few weeks (8 ish).

A cold front finally moved in, highs in the 70's for 2 days before summer returns. Golf this afternoon for sure.
I moved my outside plant into the garage. I finally got a good look at it. Kind of scrawny but it survived a Tucson summer. No bugs! The net worked.
