Hope everything is okay. Not a bad time to be in Cali. Gettin cruddy up here.
It’s just for work, but a pain in the butt time to have to leave. Then again the weather is nice, I already harvested the first half of the Puck and I can control the koolatron from anywhere. The other half will be ready when I get home even if not watered, the SIPs will go a while and it was close enough. Hopefully the GT and Malawi will be ok, if not they are partially seeded so I’ll run them again. All in all, I’m going to enjoy the mandatory vacation and clean up the mess when I get home.

@Laughing Grass are you getting the Canadian radon high?

/Also, get a radon detector please.
We have an Airthings monitor in the basement.

Funny story. I'm really bad about reading manuals. Like I only read them if I get stuck. When we set it up I put it between the furnace and the old gas water heater. That night while we were in bed it started going off... detecting high Co2. Silenced it, opened the window and it stopped. Next morning it did it again. I called the gas company and they sent someone out do inspect the furnace and heater for leaks. As soon as the tech went into the basement he saw where the detector was, laughed and said that needs to be 15-20 feet from the heater and furance.

And I bet when you get your next "new thing", you still won't RTFM?

... cause I don't see Southern Ontario in the list of more prevalent regions.
We had a radon detection device sent to us some time ago from health Canada. It was placed in the basement for a few weeks, then sent back. None was detected here in the country but a neighbouring community has it in the older parts of the city. All new house builds require radon mitigation systems - don't require to be activated, but the 4" conduits need to be in place.

BREAKING NEWS

The black and grey squirrels have officially cleaned out the tops of our oak trees. This morning, I am not seeing the fat little buggers scurry past with any new acorn clusters. I am watching them chase each other around everyone's lawns at break neck speeds. And some of them are trying to duke it out on the tree trunks.

This should be fun ...
