I purchased a mars one about a year ago (no longer available) and i use a bubbler to strike clones and once they get roots i place them in the hydroline till im ready for them . With the grow setup i have it suits me better to use pucks instead of the little baskets and medium supplied , so i 3d printed puck holders that fit on the hydroline . These would make the unit more versatile and if you had 12hr ,18hr and 24hr time choices aswell it would be better as i find 16hrs a little short and it can tend to trigger plants to pre flower when i want to keep them in veg .
Also if you do add pucks you could have an add on of a 100mm section the fits under lid raising the sides and provide a spray bar attachement and your unit could be used as a bubbler to strike the cuttings then take the spacer out remove spray bar and you can grow them in same system making it a one stop system
