Very nice grow. I noticed you put your covers back over the top of your sips. Any particular reason? Also if running tap water is it well, municipal, or RO?
I was fighting high humidity and heat, so by covering the SIPs the dehumidifiers run less and also helps the room stay cooler. I will likely uncover them once the colder weather gets here. I have well water.

I’ve been home a few days now. For those that don’t know I had to leave for a couple weeks. The Malawi was a mess when I got home. I had driven it too hard with nutes and light before I left, this is her when I got home.

I was surprised at how well developed some of the buds were, but it was at 14 weeks. I got about 40 seeds from the 2 buds I seeded. Here’s a couple buds, and I had chopped the bigger ones before this.

the Puck was finished and nice as expected. I harvested the rest, it’s in the other koolatron. The first round I harvested is exceptionally good! I hope this is better.

The Golden Tiger is just getting by, it won’t last too long, but it’s getting close. The seeds look good already, I can’t wait to try the bud, I hope I can keep it alive long enough. It’s getting a strong pine citrus scent and quite sticky.

Thats a shame that happened bud , at least theres something to toke on bongsmilie
Yeah it happens, I had someone watering but that was it. The high on the Malawi is really nice even though harvested early. It should be better after a good cure. Now I have to figure out if I want to run them again or give some new genetics a go. I have PBB, BOO, MAC 1 and PNWHP ready to go as well. Oh, and Wagyu Donutz, I won those so gotta do a grow, right.

It’s a Terp Farmz hybrid (GSC x Sunset Sherbet) X (Motorbreath x Gelato 410) x Donutz. Looks interesting, here’s a link. The colors are crazy, I’m not sure it actually puts those colors out or not.

Ok, so not what I thought I was going to do, but I read a few things a while back that got me thinking. Many sativa are more potent if flowering starts when they are at least 70 days old, one way is cloning them and then growing them out. I have clones of both the Malawi and golden tiger, and I am really liking the Malawi even though it was a bit early and it hasn’t cured. I have been smoking it over the Dosidos and Puck this weekend. The golden tiger is still getting fuller.

Here is a new GT, both the clones were monster cropped early in flower and revegged. They were not looking great after my trip west, but they are still healthy. I’ve been trying to tame them a bit more this time, and today is day one of 12/12.

They both got planted into the sips today, straight into flower. I added several handfuls of plant tone, a handful of azomite, of glacial rock, some shrimp and crab meal I made, and probably something else. I stirred it all up, let it sit a day or two, it seemed a bit heavy so I added some more perlite, and added the plants today. Here’s the Malawi

The golden tiger is still kicking, here she is at week 15 of flower. I think she has at least 3 weeks to go if not more, but the hairs are starting to orange up, and she’s building frost fast. She’s got a fruity spicy smell that is very nice, and is starting to get sticky, so I’m hopeful I can keep her healthy enough to cruise through the next couple weeks at least.

This is the new GT looking better, they were looking a bit sad and neglected before transplanting, but the new growth is coming in looking good. They are already at 12/12 starting week 2 now, hopefully this will allow me to keep them a bit smaller this round.

It’s been a few weeks and time for an update. The big Golden Tiger is at 18 weeks of flower tomorrow, and while she didn’t look good after I came home from Being gone for two weeks, she’s still packing on weight and even throwing new white pistils.

3B4CBA85-4C9F-4BBB-9DD6-2468DF9B3C4D.jpeg

Here’s a closeup bud pic, you can see the frost building and the calyxes swelling finally, the hairs that did turn red have been all but swallowed up and are being replaced with new white ones. I’ll wait another week or two to see what happens, only about half the buds have started swelling visibly. I’d take a pic of one of the top colas, but it’s too high and so am I.

Here’s her little twin sister, now just short of 4 weeks into flower. I started her flowering much sooner as far as height, the one above filled the first screen, which was about a foot higher than this one, before flipping. Hopefully this one will be more manageable.

Here’s the same GT from above.

Here’s the new Malawi, again turning into a beast fast. I really want to finish one of these right, which is why I’m running these again. This one was started flowering much sooner, we’ll see how it goes.

Here’s a view of one of the buds tied down this time, she seems to be maturing much faster this time. I think the length of time in veg has something to do with it, including the fact that these are clones this time so more mature when flipped. The cooler temps may have something to do with it as well.

It’s been 8 weeks since flip for the Malawi and Golden Tiger, they are both behaving themselves much better this round. The stretch was way less dramatic, I am going to have to play with these more another round, but i will probably not run them again right away with everything I have lined up. Here’s the Malawi

The buds are bulking and frosting up faster, and the smell and sticky is more pronounced this run.

I decided to start some seeds for the next run, by the time they are ready to flower the other girls should be finishing up. Next run will be Bag of Oranges, Peanut Butter Breath, Wagyu Donuts and PNWHP.
