Too much or too little of something. Leaves turning brown.

Can't figure out what's going on here any hope is appreciated.

Week five of flower

I added gypsum and magnesium last week. Maybe too much of one?
What kind of Magnesium? Epsom salt? Dolomite Lime? Epsom salt(Magnesium sulfate) is fine but will be released way faster than the Calcium sulfate(gypsum). Dolomite lime should NEVER be topdressed, that's only for "cooking" a soil.

When I used gypsum back in the day I topdressed with gypsum and added back Epsom in the nutrient feed/water to add back some magnesium while getting the pH adjusting benefits from gypsum.

Nutrient excess. Calcium has many antagonizing minerals. It would help to know how often and how much you've fed them.

Cheers!
Every 4 weeks 1 tablespoon per gallon of 284. So I just gave them their second feeding and last feeding. So twice in flower once the beginning once in the middle.

Top dressed one tablespoon of calcium sulfate / gypsum, and one tablespoon of Epsom salt. I do this every 2 weeks from beginning of veg to 2 weeks before harvest. I literally just did a dose of the Epsom salts and gypsum last weekend. And I did my last feeding.

From what I understand and correct me if I'm wrong but flushing is usually a Coco thing. I'm full organic soil so should I flush / water heavier with more run off to try and get up the access buildup of salts and then see what happens?

Can't say for sure either, but I'd double check for having Thrips like HydoDan suggested.
Check under the leaves etc, should have some Thrip poop there if that is the case.

Doesn't really match with calcium or magnesium deficiency to me.
I've usually had more brown spots from calcium deficiency or in case of Mg the chlorosis is more in between the veins and not dotted like that.
I don't think it is a trace element issue, since it's the lower branches that are first affected.

Other than that the plant is pretty dark green and looking a bit fleshy/overwatered?
Also I see your fan there, so if you got decent airflow around the plant, I'd be inclined to rule out the calcium deficiency too.

But also be careful with adding more stuff, since too much of one will reduce absorption of others,
like Wastei suggested.

I'm wondering if this is a magnesium toxicity or calcium toxicity / abundance rather than a deficiency. I have a 16-in fan that oscillates on the opposite side of the room for upper canopy airflow the small one in the corner is underneath the canopy and goes on to the top of the soil.

So yesterday I flush with 2 gallons of pH 6.5 water. As of this morning the leaves that were affected did not progress any further. There was also no further damage to any other leaves.
