Alternatives to duct tape for securing carbon filter

Pretty simple question. I've been duct taping carbon filters to my inline fan for several years now and it's a real pain in the ass to reach behind the fan and accurately place tape to seal the connection. Does anyone have an easier solution? I was thinking a worm screw clamp, but I figured that wouldn't be a proper seal for odor control so I've always reported to duct tape. Not a major deal, just trying to simplify the grow a bit over the years. It's filter straight to the fan so there is no pliable ducting between the filter and fan due to space limitations.

Hose clamps are used to seal water from leaking so it should be ok at stopping escaping smells you'd think

Yeah I just worried about a metal to plastic connection with nothing to actually clamp down on. The clamps wouldn't compress metal or plastic so I would almost have to run a small length of ducting for the clamps to have something to "clamp."

You could probably cut 2 squares out of some ply wood cut holes in the centre to suit fan and carbon filter in each ,affix the boards to the coresponding items . Then you can butt filter and fan up and just put 2 clamps on the boards to hold it together .
You could glue a bit of thin rubber on one side of the board to seal it better .
Saves trying to tape in an awkward spot you just use 2 clamps

Silver coloured foil tape proly aluminium idk that stuff ducters and insulation dudes use is what we are supposed to use not duct tape ideally mate that or clamps
It also has to be easy to remove since the filter is the AC infinity reusable one so I have to remove it and change the charcoal now and then. Tape is just a pain in the ass so I guess I'll try clamps to ducting instead to see what happens.

My go to is electrical tape because it's stretch and stays stuck unlike duct tape which is shit when warm.

But I use like half a roll.

The aluminum tape you can cut into 5 pieces, distribute evenly around where needed to line everything up , then add bigger bits and seal the whole thing.

When you want to separate the filter and fan you'd just run a razor blade into the join and it will slice nice and easy, but as it is , uncut it's very strong and very sticky.

Duct tape is literally the worst tape possible, which is ironic.

Snap mate and ironically I've never seen ducters with a roll of duct tape it's always as you said foil tape or electrical stuff usually pinched off of the sparks is all they use or clamps steel banding and the sticky back plastic stuff for covering vent ends or steel plates for the roof to keep birds out etc

Do you have a source for those?

Padded AV Clamps are the perfect solution. They sell them in different sizes 5 inch, 6 inch etc etc and it's as simple as tightening them up with an Allen keyView attachment 5451228
Those are nice clamps but the problem is the variance in diameters of fans and filters, my Phresh filter is 105mm and my AC Infinity fan is 96mm.
Since most fans are plastic I'd avoid rigid coupling to a big heavy filter, it would suck to break a fan from a hard bump. A short piece of duct would allow some flex. I used foam weather stripping around the outside of the fan and inserted it into the filter.

From 40 years in the auto trade a plastic connection onto a metal tube is a worm gear clamp. Water/ HVAC air you name it.
My 4 inch filter to duct came with a worm gear clamp. I am not keen on using tools when I do not have to so I replaced it with a key type gear clamp that you can tighten and loosen without tools. Left over from a radio hobby where we rallied at a location and set up comms. Graded on speed.
