This is my New Year run for this year. Speedrun Seeds, Golden Gun SRS (GG) and Froted Cherry O's F3 (FCF3). Germinated on 1/2/25 and transferred to soil on 1/3/25. GG broke soil 1/4/25 and FCOF3 on 1/5. Soil mix is mine with a starter of Great Lakes Water Only, 12 to 15 % extra Perlite, added worm castings, Mushroom compost, Bio Live and Bio Char as well as Dynomico/Bigfoot Mycorrizal. Will be attempting to avoid any added nutrients except for GC Silica and Greenleaf Nutrients MC1 and Sweet Candy if needed as well as their Pro CalMag. Mainly want to see if some teas I purchased work to full potential called Plant Juice and Bloom Juice (all organic) Also added another FCOF3 to this batch as I accidentally worried my first wasn't going to break soil! So she came up today, will refer to her as FCF3 #2 later on. She will not be in an autopot but going to be in a 2G cloth bag and on a homemade wick set up. Same soil mix. Resting them in. Vivosn 4x4x78" Pro, 6" carbon filtered exhaust, numerous circular fans, 2 plants FCOF3 and GG are in 6G Tall Cloth pots, Autopot GeoPot system X2, 1 late bloomer FCOF3#2 will go into a homemade wicking system with 2G fabric pot. Medic Grow Fold 8 @25% (currently) all controlled by Vivosun E42A controller. Humidifier is generic running at 70% distilled water. So far temp has been steady at 76 degrees (+- 2 degrees), 61% RH and VPD1.1 I'm not big on consistency with these, but I keep a hand written journal at home, so I'll get back here on occasion to keep this as updated as possible throughout, may be a week in between or so, but it will get updated.

Looks like early nute burn.
Not sure if it is nute burn or maybe where the casing stuck for a bit. Thye were Germinated using just water and paper towel then into peat pots, so not sure how the Nutrients would have even gotten to them in 3-4 days time period. Maybe a water spot that gathered and light burn from spaying?

Update 1/13/25
Well today 9 Days for Golden Gun (GG) and 8 Days for Frosted Cherry O's F3 #1 (from breaking soil to now). They went from solo cups to 6GT permanent fabric pots. There were no roots showing on the Clear solo inside the red, so no shock. I feel if you transplant withing the 8-10 day period with autos, I have been okay with no stunting. Fingers are always crossed! Anyway all went well, as I had pre wet the 6GT bags for the last couple days allowing for things to get working in the LOS and so I may not have to water for a week or more.
GG is really showing nice growth and so is FCO3 #1, but you can see she was a day behind, close to GG but just slightly smaller. They should grow well together. I did water 500ml to each after transferring, added a super small drop of Grow Genius mono silica and Elm Dirt Plant Juice 1/2 dose. Plant Juice is a tea with and for microbes.

Still have FCOF3#2 at 4 days since breaking soil, under a dome as she seemed to want more humidity. She looks small, but they all did when they first popped. She was somewhat unplanned so we'll see where she goes. If she survives she will go into a 2GT planter on a DIY SWICK Pot set up I have, since my 2 Autopots are already being used.

For those wondering a 6GT Fabric planter is a 6 gallon Tall, same with the 2GT fabric, 2 gallon tall. These give more height to the bag and slightly less width, allowing more depth for roots. My 6GT is the same dimension bottom as a 5G standard but 2 to 3 inches taller.

Light is 22" above these at 50%, 74.5 temp, 59%RH 1.25VPD.

Here are the latest photos. GG on left, FCOF3#1 middle, side by side above GG on left FCOF3 on right GG 9 Days.jpgFCOF3#1 8 Days.jpgGG FCO3F3#1 side by side.jpg

New Update 01/21/2025 The girls are looking fabulous. At 16 days & 15 days respectively GG and FCOF##1 are doing well. The stems on these amaze me at how thick they are already. Very close nodes though so will be a challenge for some LST. FCOF##2 looks as though she stunted right off the bat, still can't figure as she was treated the same as the GG and FCOF##1, but she lives so I am doing her in a small 2G fabric w/Swick set up. She is now 12 days old.
I fed them last 1/20 night 1/2 gallon each to GG and FCOF#1 of water w/2 oz Plant Juice. Also gave 300ML to FCOF3#2. I am hoping to turn on the Autopots either late this week or Monday. My leaves have not yet reached the outer edges of planter but are close.
The stems aon the GG and FCOF##1 are a good 1/4 inch thick already, so no worries about weak stem here. First time my girls did not stretch and stand at 3 inches tall on spindly stems. Maybe the Grow Genius Mono Silica helped? Well the next application of GG Silica will be either this eve or tomorrow using it as a foliar feed for now and a slight bit in feed about every other week.
You may notice some mottling colors on leaves, this is just residue from a foliar spray with small amount of Organic REV. I have a sample 4 oz bottle and figured this is the best way to use the small amount and help the girls.
Next Update may be the day I turn on the Autopots.

Well I made the decision yesterday morning to top both of my girls. I had foliar fed them about an hour earlier with some added GG Mono Silica first thing in the a.m. Then when I went to check to make sure they were somewhat dried, under reduced lighting I got the bug. So I first trimmed a couple of large fans on both, that were her fist lower fans consistently touching soil. I kept looking at that middle and said do it! So, they were both topped, it was day 16 for GG and 17 for GG and 16 for FCOF#1. FCOF#1 is doing phenomenal as is GG, the stems on both are close to quarter inch thick already. The almost look like twins, so you definitely can see FCOF3 is the mother of GG. Fo rbeing just 24 hrs apart, they really are close in development. After topping I applied a small drop of natural honey to the cut. I then let them be. for the morning. Later in the evening, I fed them 1/2 gallon each of Plant Juice w/dechlorinated water at 6.1 ph. FCOF##2 is still hanging in, stunted and still can't figure out why? Just an auto trait I guess. Going to let her do her thing.

Here are photos from yesterdays topping and today their standing tall (well taller) 3.5 inches and reaching higher daily.

Are you running an airstone at the root zone? Noticed tubing running into your medium. How often are the being fed in your bags? They look very healthy.

I have airlines with airstones under the air domes that AutoPot offers, I have not turned on the air yet, as I won't open the system until Friday. Once I open the system, I'll start after about a week to run the air while the lights are on only. The smaller one, I may control differently as she is a stunted plant (somehow) and in a smaller 2G pot,on a SWICK DIY set up. My other two are in the autopots in 6G tall bags with air domes as well. Again once I open the system, they will all be getting air to the roots. As far as feed goes, I made up my soil and am depending on microbes, fungi and bacteria to produce the needs from the soil, just using Plant Juice Tea, worm casting tea and some organic REV to keep microbes happy. I will only use Gaia Green if I have to on this particular run, hoping to go natural all the way on this one. I do have some CalMag organic, just in case, but usually in a soil grow, there shouldn't be a need if all was done correctly. On the side waiting is also Green Leaf Nutrients all water soluble formulas, that are for some quick relief if needed as well.

I'm real interested to know how the added air to the root zone works out. I can see the benefits for sure. No buildup with the airdomes? Have you grown this breeder before? I have heard of Cherry o's but the
golden gun?

Well it has been awhile since I last updated this thread, so here is an update! The girls are now on day 46 & 47 & 41 respectively. Two days ago, I found that the last 5G of water I have been Ph testing, my PH pen was way off. Figured it out as the one plant I called her runt @ 41 days, was showing some very unusual signs of Calmag deficiency to sulfur and boron. Borrowed a freinds good tester and found I was almost 3 points off in the negative! So what I thought was 5.9 to 6.1, was actually 2.9 to 3.1. Somehow my 2 main plants have not shown a sign and are resilient as all get up! I am hoping it was the LOS I use and my microbes still did their job and continue.

I have a new Apera 60 coming tomorrow. In the meantime I have flushed my reservoir, and all my water buckets and started over on my water supply. Currently they sit at 5.9 and my reservoir at 6.1 to 6.3. I know LOS you don't need to check, but I do and still insist that though LOS should help, it did in this case, but there is still the potential for bad PH'd water.

I continue to feed them the ELM Dirt Bloom Juice tea mix now using 3 oz of it, 1 oz REV, 1g Kelp extract, Sweet Candy 2g, MC 1 part 1g, and Dynomica Spark 1 tsp mixed to 1 G de-chlorinated water PH 6.2. I have continued to top dress with Gaia Green Bloom the last 3 weekends and top feed twice weekly now after shutting the flow off for a few hours. I still foliar spray GG mono Silica once weekly, and also have used REV once a week as a foliar spray as well. The plants really seem to show the next few days after these foliar sprays. Leaves stay supple and soft, great color etc.
After receiving this mix 500ml and fresh 6.2 water for the last two days the runt is showing great recovery! Color has come back and new growth is vivid in color.

GG is now packing on muscle and filling the cola sites @ 47 days she looks great, Color is solid and starting to show frost forming around the cola sites. Her buds are filling in more and more every day, and I am really hoping she continues packing on the muscle. The one thing GG has lacked is an odor or smell of any kind, though I did notice yesterday a slight rubber/light fruity smell after pushing some of her leaves down around a few bud sites. She is definitely wider 54" around than tall, her tallest cola is 18 inches form soil. She is in a 6G tall fabric bag and autopot system

FCOF3#1 is a duplicate of her sibling GG. She is at 46 days but IMHO ahead of GG some in development. Her colas are filling nicely, and her smells are divine, fruity (juicy fruit comes to mind), sweet and a slight petrol smell. Pistols are white and light brownish and noticed the other day she is starting to frost some all over her cola sites. This cultivar is noted for frostiness so looking forward to her developing even more! I am very happy where she is and the bulk her colas are starting to take on. She is 18" at her tallest cola and 51 inches in circumference. Colors are similar to GG but here colas seem to be a little lighter green vs dark like GG. She is also in a 6G tall fabric bag and autopot system

FCOF3#2 nickname the runt, as stated showed really fast signs of something wrong. She is in similar mixture as the two above, but in a DIY Swick set up and only a 2G planter. So maybe due to less soil and space the bad PH'd water had a quick effect? Either way she is looking much better today than the last week. She was unplanned but allowed her to go on, now just hope she makes a complete recovery. She is spindly and nowhere near her siblings. She started out badly (thought she was stunted) then grew and caught up in height but stayed skinny and scrawny. At worse, she will be used for oil and butters! She is picking up the fruity sweet petrol smells. not showing any frost yet.

Here are some updated photos, one day I'll learn to take better pics!. :weed: :blsmoke:
