State of the union tonight.......nope.......why watch a bunch and lies and bullshit......boycott
Florida had it's state of the state speech today. Shorty didn't mention DOGE, but there has been talk of forming a Florida version of what Musk is doing. The reporter pointed out that the GOP has controlled Florida for 25 years, so all the waste, fraud and abuse would be by them. The MAGA base is not known for critical thinking, so they may do it anyway.

Trump Set to Whack US Working Class With Historic $3,000 Tax Hike
There is an old saying in Washington that if you want to understand politicians, look at what they do, not what they say. On that front there is no ambiguity. The Republican president is imposing big new taxes, and he is doing it in a way that does not require congressional approval.

The waiting is almost over, Donald Trump is about to hit America’s workers with the largest tax increase they have ever seen. Trump’s taxes on imports (tariffs) from Canada, Mexico, and China will cost people in the United States somewhere around $400 billion a year or around $3,000 a household.
This is far larger than any tax increase we’ve seen in the last half-century

I know Ontario cancelled their Starlink contract or at least said they would

Export tariffs on electricity might be one thing we do
Yeah, I think there's plenty demand here in the EU for Canadian oil/LNG to replace the old sources.
Same with military deals, now there is alot more incentive to buy from European manufacturers (for us European).

Mr Art of Deal managed to fk up all but sure deals for US oil,gas and weapon companies.
Probably hurting more the US than the rest of us with the way he's pushing us to work together without them.
Not to say we all lose in this, except maybe for Vlad.

All we are missing now is for the fking Chinese to give the security guarantees for the Ukrainian mineral rights.

Really wonder how long the rest of US will watch this Orangutan show (no offence to actual orangutans),
before any resistance from pretty much anywhere? Midterm?
