Blaze & Daze

I got this thing almost ready to transplant into the silverado 2500hd Another 14 bolt full floater but with the 4:10’s and far fewer miles. i’ve always wanted the little bit lower gears than i got. 3:73’s. It’s currently covered in some Rust Kutter, bomb shit, right now as the final step of prepwork and will be painting it with some VHT rollbar and chassis spraypaint(black satin) if you were wondering. The front diff i’m waiting on some axle seals.

That must be a bad neighborhood, they stripped it right down to the axle.

The golf courses are starting to green up and soon the snowbirds will be going home. Supposed to get up to 90 next week.
I suspect next year we won't be seeing as many Canadians. Too bad, as a group they are polite and well behaved. The American snowbirds, not so much, entitled and obnoxious, they need to go home.
I culled 4 males out of my current run, I have a couple more suspects.Waiting we are to see who's who. I haven't run regulars before, I'm assuming it's normal for the males to present first.
This time around I pretty much started them on 12 12, planning on a SOG grow. We got, GDP, Slusherz, GG4 x alien Tahoe OG, and Gazurple, all pollinated by a unicorn poop male.

Yes but yeah I've got nothing still stings a bit

Day 4: Final mudding day.

The day you realize that despite having already completed 4 rooms, purchased hundreds of dollars in tools, watched thousands of hours of "how to" videos, that you still really have no fucking clue what you're doing or why you're doing it. So you throw the last bit of mud at the wall, smooth it over with the $65 "skimming" trowel, say "fuck it" I'll sand out anything left tomorrow and texture and paint will cover the rest.

I saw bugs!
Oh, yea, time to start putting beer back in the fridge too :eyesmoke:

It is interesting that one or two warm days does nothing to start up plants, but it is enough to bring out the insects. A flying insect landed on my hand when I was out biking, and my brain had a hard time accepting it. Fortunately they all disappeared as soon as the weather got cooler again. I hate bugs...

We've been in 78+° days for over a month now. I'm on week 4 of violating the Geneva Convention with the chemical warfare in my yard. Big box kill'em all bug spray every other week, weed/grass spray on the alternating weeks. If that doesn't work we've got an old school pest control store that sells the good shit if you're willing to pay the price and keep quiet; I'm pretty sure they spray you in the face with DDT if you mention beneficial insects or organic earth friendly controls. Mostly battling ants, they're the biggest problem anyone in our hood has; but it's the swamp, all the bugs we have are big and bite. So I'm just spraying a different bottle every alternating week.

Throw on my respirator, some gloves and hike the backpack sprayer and dump 15 gallons of sludge on the yards. If I can get all the bugs, weeds, grass, and whatnot killed int he backyard this summer, I'm strongly considering a few inches depth of weed cloth and one of the perrenial varieties of synthetic turf. I'm done mowing the back yard, so I'll just kill it all and put a carpet down. If anyone complains I'll just tell them I planted microplastic seeds as it's the only thing I could get to grow in our 21st century, nuclear phosphate runoff, polluted swamp.
