Hard to tell for sure with autopots having an eight day head start and different varieties. My impression right now is on par or better than dwc. I've never been able to push EC much above 1.4 on dwc. This morning I've got the autopots up to 3.0 and they're loving it.
I've seen that term used on this and other forums but I don't think it's entirely correct. The definition for trifoliate I found is "a compound leaf having three leaflets". Either way it's going along for the ride.
Dude, youve really got your setup hopping! Im very interested to see how that turns out with the comparison. The biggest autos ive seen have almost exclusively been grown on Autopots. A few running DWC can pull off a pound plant. But, the Autopots just make it simple apparantly. Im going to buy a couple as soon as i can afford them. Hell, i might just build some replicas and buy their nutes. Im a loyal Mephisto customer, but i have had a couple issues myself with their F1 limited releases. Grape Crush spat out a Photo male and CDLC xHBH was a Hermie. I only ended up with 27 seeds and the bud was great. They give enough freebies that it was ok. Cant wait to see that Chemdogging at harvest time.

Yeah, I started following autopotamus on instagram when this website went down. He grows some monsters! I pretty much have followed everything he does. 100% Canna Coco bricks with the autopot air base and air dome. I've been pushing the nutes along with lights. The only thing I couldn't quite wrap my head around was feeding seedlings immediately at 2.0 EC while upping the lights. I did go quite bit heavier than usual and it didn't hurt them a bit. He says you have to get maximum growth starting from day one to get pound plus plants.

Yes he ran his last grow with CO2 but his really large plants were grown without. He recommends using the air base and dome with an aquarium air pump. He has a new YouTube channel now and shows his last grow.
It sounds like a nice simple way of growing, I love having a big res. I can go for a couple of weeks with my girls in flower, all I have to worry about is that there are no pump failures.. but you wouldn’t even have to worry about that with your autopots.. they are just a float valve/gravity type deal aren’t they?
There dont seem to be many downsides to the autopots. Ive seen guys using super soil with them as well as Pro-Mix. Most seem to use Coco. Do you run their nutes or are you using something else? Ive been impressed with what youve been showing.
They actually have two float valves with one inside the other working together. The level in the tray is constantly rising and falling as the plant takes up water. An automatic ebb and flow with each plant determining how much it gets. I have my reservoir sitting up on a bench outside the tent for the gravity feed.

I've been primarily using the Botanicare product line since I started growing, mostly because I accidentally ordered a 2.5gal jug of Bloom that I want to use up and it seems to work for me. They stress using nutes that stay dissolved to avoid gunking up the valves. I also installed an inline banjo filter right outside the reservoir that I clean once a week.
