Republicans want to auction off millions of acres of America's public lands​

Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe at sunset in the winter. If the budget is passed by the July 4 deadline, an estimated 16 million acres in California are at risk of being sold over the next five years. According to a map released by the Wilderness Society, land surrounding Fallen Leaf Lake in the Tahoe Basin is vulnerable.
As the Senate continues to comb through the Big Beautiful Bill, 258 million acres of public land across the western U.S., including large swaths of California, could soon be eligible for sale. Those vulnerable parcels of land include areas adjacent to Yosemite National Park, Mount Shasta, Big Sur and Lake Tahoe.

Right, like why not embrace the military. This was an opportunity to show unity and be part of something all Americans could be proud of. Instead they just go against the plan and come off looking more pathetic as they cry about Trump.

The organized protests are just another example of failure. The previous administration literally caused the current situation which they now use as a cause. Not a winning position as the country watched that train wreck as well.
