What CBD breeders you guys going for in 2026?

Hey everyone,
I’m starting to plan for next season and was curious to hear what CBD breeders you’re all running.

Would love to hear what lines or genetics you’re most excited about, and if you have any personal experiences with particular breeders (good or bad), please share!

I’m especially interested in recommendations for European breeders, since I’m based in Europe and it would be easier for me to source seeds locally.

Thanks in advance

I grew an ACE CBD #1 that was pretty solid. I don’t really use CBD a whole lot, but wanted to try something different, and potentially hit with pollen down the road to try some 1:1’s. I had a couple non-weed friends try it and they liked it a lot, and didn’t feel high, so it makes me believe the THC is low enough to be un-noticed. Plant was also also a vigorous and healthy producer. I documented it in my grow journal this past year.

Thanks bro, such a nice recommendation!

I checked out the strain on their website and the cannabinoid report looks great, seems to have a solid 20:1 CBD:THC ratio.

Just to give you some background: I moved from Brazil to Portugal on December 24th. It was a big change, and before the move I had actually stopped smoking weed to be more productive. When I arrived here I already knew CBD weed was legal, so I went straight to a shop to buy some and honestly, I fell in love with it.

I had smoked cbd flower before but never really felt much, probably because I was used to strong high thc strains. Back in Brazil I used to grow my own and my last journal was with Square One Genetics Deluxe Sugar Cane. The high was super strong, long lasting, and honestly a bit too psychoactive for me. Before the move I took a break, and now I’ve been smoking only cbd flower for about 8 months and I feel great. I can still enjoy a joint, relax, feel good, and keep a clear mind. No need for THC anymore.

Right now I’m running two strains outdoors here: Charlottes Angel from Dutch Passion and Pure Red Auto from Sweet Seeds. I’m not planning on making oils or extracts, so what I’m really looking for are strains with rich terpene profiles. Smell and flavor are very important to me.

So yeah, ACE CBD #1 looks like it could be a really good fit. Thanks again for pointing it out!

Here’s the report from their website:

I really wish more breeders would provide detailed reports like this. It would make choosing strains much easier, since the weed market today often relies more on marketing, flashy names and pictures than on solid scientific data.

strain is called good medicine from bodhi
These seeds were made to use as a tool to in a high CBD (Cannabidiol) project. Harlequin is a famous Californian CBD rich clone - a sativa dominant cross of Columbian gold, Thai, and a Nepal indica brought to the community by Wade Laughter.

yes, very nice combo

I’d email the folks over at JBC Seeds about this. They used to have a page discussing their freebies, and “good medicine” is one they used to have an extensive description and story about on the page. I can’t find the link to the page now, it may have been removed from the site, but I’d check there and ask if they have any crosses of it left.

This is what Im currently running... Planted these girls a little late this season (early July), but they’re coming along nicely. We’re now just about at week 3 of flower.

Charlotte's Angels by Dutch Passion:

Hoping they’ve still got enough time to really pack on some weight before the season wraps up.
