Wtf with my clones?? What am I doin wrong??

The CO2, in the seltzer, is very helpful for growth. It doesn't help grow roots, but the extra growth adds more leaves and more leaves does give the plant more power to stay healthy. Less yellowing allows the plant to stay healthy longer, in order to grow some roots. I have done side by side tests on clones, myself. If there is someone out there to say that I am spewing bro science, I'll listen. Not trying to start an argument, just voicing my observations.

Well …. The seltzer may be helpful for growth, never tried it so I won’t comment.

But, your reasoning (elevated CO2) is not the cause. Whatever co2 was there will dissipate in a flash. As it relates to CO2, it’d be much more effective just to exhale on your clones.

Your observations are valid, I’m not gonna argue that. But your conclusions as to cause - I’m calling bro science .
(P.s. all in fun - it really doesn’t matter, if it works for you, great)

So with clones, the idea is root growth, not leaf growth. I dont use direct light on my clones, only indirect. Boosting co2 levels is normally only beneficial under high ppfd, from what I understand.

Leaves yellow as the light hits them, and they try to photosynthesize, but can't uptake nutes due to lack of roots. What are you lighting the clones with? Also, they could be rotting in the peat pucks, which can be mitigated with some Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide. Finally, the best rooting compound is Dip'N'Grow.
